The "Droid Fighter" is brown and tan in color. The Vulture Droid is Matoro-blue and Metru blue. The Vulture droid is also more streamlined and thin, while the Droid Fighter is a little bit bulkier. I'd say the Droid fighter is cooler, the Vulture Droid doesn't have enough parts.
(BTW, the storyline difference is that the Droid Fighter was used by the Trade Federation in Phantom Menace, and the Vulture Droids were invented during the Clone Wars, and shown in RotS)
StFEDIT: Some reference pics are Here (Droid Fighter), and Here (Vulture Droid).
Also, you may have trouble getting the Droid Fighter, as it came out in 2001.

the merry-go-round does absolutly nothing. it's really pointless. you just have to destroy all the stuff, build it, what ever. One thing that is commonly missed is the tree grove left of the flying house, destroy all the trees and walk around, blue flowers will pop up, and when you get them all , you get studs. Also there are stud-like things on the ground that can be built and give you coins. PM if I didn't answer your questions all the way. I'm not sure what parts you all did, so I'm just giving the most overlooked ones.

On Sunday, I was over my friends house. We were playing LSWI! And, although I did poorly, I found it quite fun! At one point, my friend got fed up with my mistakes, so his character started chasing mine, shooting at me. So, in return, I shot at him!
And the best part was that if nobody was playing as Jar-Jar, then you could kill Jar-Jar!

There was also this part where two force-weilding characters had to stand on two different boxes, then use force on the box to raise the box up high to act as an elevator. Boy, I had fun with that. My friend's character was standing on one box, but I wanted to stand on that box, so we had a Lightsaber fight just to find out who would stand on the box! Then, I began using the force on my friend's box, but he wasn't using it on mine! So, I stopped using the force just as he began to use the force. Then, he stopped just as I began. Then I stopped just as he began! Then, I fell off of the box, and my friend raised the box with his force so I couldn't get back on it! After a LONG time, we finally cooperated and got to the second floor where the boxes were supposed to bring us! That was fun!

My friend also found this cheat that initiated invincibility, which we used, since I was just a beginner. In the part where we were facing Darth Maul, I was messing up totally, so my friend turned the invincibility mode off, and watched me get pounded to death! But anyways, has anyone else found this invicibilty mode cheat?

Go into the bounty hunter area, and start blowing
things up until you have enough pieces to build a car.
Drive the car onto the orange ramp in the claw
room, and the minikit will apear.
If you're talking about Rescue the Princess, just drop
ten stormtroopers into the hole and pick up the minikit.

I need two more gold bricks... grrrrrr. Both in Super stories. If anyone needs help, ask me. I know this game inside and out.
And about the new sets, I like 'em all except the At-At and the landing craft. The landing craft comes with good figs but the whole shape just doesn't seems right. The older one was better. Same for the At-At.
Is that set totally freaky or what? I'll be getting Greviouses' starfighter no doubt.
-Toa Iruini-, the sets are scheduled for '07. Highly unlikly they'll be out for Christmas.

By blasting you mean blowing up, right? If you blew them all up and the electricity barrier isn't going away,
its got to be a glitch, or your game is totally messed up.

I know. Same answer. A bit earlier on there is a bomb dispenser, use the Snowspeeder to get it and roll it up to the red things by the shield.

I'm doin' pretty well, now. I got all the minikits, finally. THere was this one in Death Star Escape with the window washers, and I kept saying to my brothers, "IT's the window washers," but no, it couldn't be. It was the window washers. Aha!
I have a question, though. How do you unlock the door with Jabba the Hutt's face on it? Do you need all the gold bricks from the three episodes? That's what I'm thinkin' though it could be a Power Brick.

You know what really annoys me. Minikits that are in plain sight but I still can't get to. Two examples:
1. 'Through the Judland wastes'
It's that one on the outhang of rock, near where you turn the escape pod into a ramp for getting up the sand dune, and where you stack the bottles
2. 'Cloud City Trap'
It's the one in the cage. I can see that there is one of those trapdoors leading in and out of the cage but for some reason my 'little' characters won't use it. Am I just not using the right little characters?
And slightly late but can someone give me a list of where all the Minikits are in the Droid Factory for LSW1? I just have one left to find in there and then that will be all of them

And about the small door in Cloud City Trap, I figured that out yesterday. You can only go in the door ONCE Darth Vader leaves. You have to beat him first.

You need to get this one in free play. You go back a ways and there should be a wall of silver stuff on the left. You need to destroy it then hover across the gap with R2. You should then come to the Sand People Camp. Go left to a ledge where there are three sand people. Kill them and use artoo to hove across the gap to the minikit.

Sure. When you first start Jundland Wastes, you have to cross some sort of bridge with a blue stud on it. Somewhere around that area is a large gap between you and another piece of land with some silver structures. Fly over with R-2, then turn into a Bounty Hunter and blow up the silver stuff with your thermal detonators. There should be a big area, which eventually leads to an outcropping with Tuskan Raiders. Across the outcropping is the minikit. FLy over with R-2.
When you go through the level as normal route, you should see the outcropping with the Raiders, but you can't get to it from the normal way. Hope that helps.
And I just got all minikits yesterday. THe prize is awesome...

I wholeheartedly agree. I got the x6, x8, and x10 multipliers yesterday, so now I have all five (I had the x2 and x4 already). I played through Falcon Flight pretty quickly with all five on just as a test run and got over 275 million studs. Then I calculated that I could get about 960 million one one run of the Mos Eisley level...
I just wish the character creation had been better. I'm starting to doubt there are millions of combinations, so I'll check and see just how many there are.
