I don't know how similar the DS version is to the PC one, but I think you need to jump on top of the rock.
The cliff has a hole with the minikit in it that's blocked by a pillar-ish rock, right?
Frankly, I'm afraid the two versions aren't very similar. Trust me. I've played the PS2 version, which I assume is very similar to the PC version, and I found it quite different from the DS version.
Well, your last sentence is almost true. There's the brown-ish cliff, and here's a tan-ish rock blocking a hole in the cliff, but there's a slight crack in the rock, allowing you to see that there's a minikit beyond the crack.
I'd post a screenshot, but it's... well, kinda hard to post screenshots of DS...
Also, often in the Echo Base Escape Level, my Minikit Detector is pointing in directions blocked off by ice and bricks. How do I get through - or over - these blockages?
EDIT: Another question, while I'm at it. In the door found between the Mos Eisely Spacepot and the 4-Player Bounty Hunter Game in Mos Eisley, marked ??? on its door, is a level called The Sandbox. It's a really weird level where, playing as Slave Leia and that annoying monkey that sits next to Jabba all the time, you must go out into the desert, and do... what? Build snowmen and skeletons out of LEGO pieces? Avoid the Salcracc Pit? Jump onto the Desert Skiffs? Push a lever and become giant? There seems to be no point to this level.
My question: What the Karzahni are we supposed to do in the Sandbox level?
For the minikit Mos Eisley thing: You gotta get a sith, then use the force on it in free play.
Hoth: Not sure what you're talking about, I'll play the game then try to get back to you.
Sand Box: No idea. I've been wondering too!
I got the Imperial Landing Craft, General Greivous' Starfighter, the Clone Trooper Battle Pack, and The Droid Battle back. And next time I see the Y-Wing, I'll get it. I can't find the chicken walker anywhere!
EDIT: If you want me to write a reveiw on any of these, I'd be happy to. Just PM me.
EDIT#2: Are the Naboo fighter, MTT and Jedi Starfighter out yet?!

AT-ST Walker Review
THE BOX
The the most superficial part of any LEGO product, but the one that often determines whether or not the set is a success or failure.
Well you walk pass the lego isle at walmart and the new lego Star Wars boxes will pop out like never before. The boxes have been changed since the start, for the better. With new graphics and features, they can really make a buyer come to his/her knees.
You'll notice a 30 year anniversary symbol which marks 30 longs years of Star Wars history. You will also notice a few pictures in the back of the new set, you are going to buy. On the front, the first thing you will see, is the very set itself in its glory. The At-ST has a forest back round, possibly Endor, a very popular scene in episode 6. The box will also include piece count, which is 244, and set number (7657).
Not only do you see the set looks, but its features as well. The coolest feature yet on the AT-ST i think. With the turn of a knob the set's head will rear its head.
WHAT'S IN THE BOX?
So you've bought it and taken it home (or at least made it to the car), punched the perforated tabs and dump out the contents. What do you get for your money?
Well you get a bunch of bags with grey pieces, dark grey pieces, light grey pieces, and black pieces. A tradition for me is to always get the minifig pieces together and build them first. This figure is, though, new and includes a nice helmet and body. I really like how lego is expanding the universe. The gun is an addition as well. You'll notice its a regular blaster type gun the Stormtroopers carry.
Some new pieces, are a black type rectangle that allows you to turn the head it fits in between the head and legs. Pop a few gears in and the turn the knob.
Not much else other than getting the set built.
BUILDING EXPERIENCE
What can you expect while putting this model together?
While building, lego will lead you through an easy trial of building the bricks into a Star Wars walker. The build is fun, and new to me because I never had built the old AT-ST, so I cant tell you any similarities. I can tell you though that this is way better. The head for one is more detailed on the outside, (The back, sides, front). They all have 1 piece that makes the difference.
The legs are the last part of the building process. They are the easiest part, and shortest. When you them together its hard to believe the heavy head and body will beable to stand up. But when your finished, be amazed!
PLAYING EXPERIENCE
So you've got the model together, but is it more like playing with a block of wood or an interactive toy?
The play ability is quite amazing, even though you dont have legs to move, the head makes up for it. But a moving head and legs would be even nicer. The thing is very sturdy and wont fall much. If it does fall off a shelf expect to lose the turrets, or side shingles.
The figure is cool, and makes a nice edition to anyones Imperial Army.
The Turrets move well without falling off, you can turn them, twist them, what ever pleases you.
The legs are the only downfall. They made the legs like this so the set wouldnt fall. But when you see how lego can build you wonder what they could have done to make better legs.
OVERALL
Here's where it all boils down to whether the model is worth your money and time or not.
The set is cheap only 20 USD and has a great feature and build experience for anyone. Even if you a MOC builder, this has some nice pieces, minifigs.
So if you want to build the set for fun, and add to your collection, this set is deffiantly for you! Lego fan or not. Even if you dont like star wars and like lego.
Overall 8.33/10

Nice review! my friend says he saw 'em at Wal-Mart so I think I'll pick one up! Should be around 30$CDN, but my friend never checked the price... Unfortunately, in CDN$s, the ILC is 70$...

Might not be until my birthday 'til I get that... Oh well...

I just picked up the Greivous Starfight and man was I impressed. If you think the other sets are fun, wow!
The sliding cockpit makes it realistic, then the whole ship is sturdy and accurate.
Buy it you'll love it.

What do you want to see become a set?
For me:
Tantive IV (Rebel blockade Runner with good rebel figs)
A Hoth Base
Outrider (although it is a alternate)
A redisigned Jabba's Palace
A redisigned Mos Eisly Cantina
Cloud City (Relrealeased)
Storm Trooper Battle pack with Dewbacks.
Rebel Trooper packs with TaunTauns or something.

Okay, thanks. That answers my questions. Too bad they didn't finish the level... it would've been cool if they did. Now, it makes no sense at all.
And I wonder why it says that I have 0/10 minikits when there are no minikits to be found...

Do the lgiht-up lightsabers ever run out of "juice?"
Yes, they do, and that's one of my biggest beefs with them -- the battery is
non-replacable. So it's bad enough that you have a minifigure that you can't take apart or pose well, but once the battery goes out, it's absolutely useless. I think that the best thing to do is buy a light-up minifig set through S@H, because I guarentee that kids going through the store will do the "Try me!" function on the box and waste away battery life.
Yeah I know! Hopefully, Lego put them INSIDE the box!

I just have a very quick question, once again for LSWII on DS. This time, for the Speeder Chase level.
I notice that throughout the level, there are these strange, brown and grey, loop-like objects. When you pass through them, red lights turn on and the loop spins. According to my Minikit Detector, near the final loop should be a Minikit. No matter what I do, I can't get this Minikit to appear. I pass through all the loops, but nothing happens. Can someone tell me how to get this Minikit to appear?
