I would prefer bases. With big armies.....and turrets....and vehicle ports....and buildings of some kind....

Hmmm....the maul is a nice addition, but I'm still not convinced....

Oh yeah... Is that the Sith Infiltrator we've seen? It looks diferent.

It's at a different angle. It looks a little bit chubby. Maybe it's worth the parts.....how much does it cost?

The NSF looks great! The crawler looks better in that picture, too. And the pilots have silver eyes....

Actually, as I said earlier, those aren't pilots... Blackhole Stormies, anyone? The new Maul Speeder is way better, and the ship looks better from atop...

I think they are either blackhole stormies or dark troopers(wait, are they the same?)

Actually, they are quite different... Darktroopers are droids and they alot bigger than an average human, and dark troopers a greyish-sand bluish in color. Darktroopers don't have Black armor either.

The sith infiltrator looks a lot better.

BTW, blackhole stormtroopers aren't really controlled by the empire.

It's the dark troopers that are droids, not blackhole.

I'm guessing for the same reason Kit comes with the JSF... LEGO wanted to include 'em somewhere... Although I don't think their was a demand for Blackholetroopers... I'd rather have a TX-130T Saber-class tank or IFT-T than a TIE Crawler anyways...

But you gotta' admit the TC is really cool.

The set in which I am truly interested is the Jedi Starfighter w/ the hyper ring thing.
The Naboo fighter looks like it is but a rehash; I don't like it.

Well, the C-3PO and the 14k gold contest ones aren't available 'til summer... So still nothin'... And I don't really want the falcon. Not to mention, it's not really to mini-fig scale. The most recent Falcon before the UCS had a cockpi that could fit two people side be side with the right pieces, but it didn't go far back enough... Even so I think the old one was better for mini-fig authenticity. The Mini-figs don't look like ants...

Summer?! Dang, thats a while away, can't wait.

No, I'm saying I don't really think it IS to scale! I think it's OVER-scaled! Sure it's big and all, but since when did the character look like ANTS? And there wasn't that much space in the cockpit! I'm saying if it was to scale it would be closer to the most recent system version.

Uh, yes there was that much space in the cockpit. Not sure about the small size though.

Hmm, pictures of the Tie Crawler and stuff look really familiar... I may've seen them on a brickshelf file or something before, and I'm not sure they'll be real sets.

On another note, does anyone know if the Sith Infiltrator and Echo Base are due out late this year, or in early 2008 (wondering if they're candidates for a gold metalized 3PO)?

Outta curiousity, Toa_Hewkii did the site you looked at have pictures of the Starfighter? If it had that picture, its clearly a fake. I can find MANY things that are edited. Take the cockpit for example, its blurred out.
So it being real, I have my doubts in it.
