I think he was implying that the figures are the same, except the magnets in the legs, which can't be taken out. The legs also can't be taken off, so it's not exactly the same.

And I noticed something about the new Falcon. In the movies, the characters had to duck to go up the boarding ramp, but in the UCS the edge of the ship is way above their heads. So I still think it isn't to scale...

All I know is that it costs 500 bucks and I ain't gettin' it.

Looking at the TIE Crawler pics, you now, the ones with German(?) on it, those supposed
"Blachole Stormies" look awfully alot like TIE pilots. I hope it's BH stormies, but it's doubtful.

Well, I've discovered something. You know that list that was found? The one that included Hoth Base, Sith Infiltrator, and Republic Gunship? We said they were all fake. Now Hoth Base and SI
have been confirmed, but what about our good friend, Mr. Gunship? Maybe that list wasn't

Well, although they do look similar there is no air tubes on torso decal, no tiny imperial symbols, and the Pilots don't have silver highlights for the mouthpieces and eyevisors. Anyway, I hope they do make a Gunship, and I'm really looking forward to the Hoth base. LEGO is doing quite the job of keeping it concealed... But one false move and... WHAM! Everyone knows! And I'm just waiting for it to happen with that Hoth Base...

Hoth Base isn't great, but I want that Snowspeeder.

I expected something different of the hoth base though....

Whoa! More snowtroopers, new snowspeeder, peachy Qui-gon, Probey, new mountain-ish type peices! Hooray! It kinda is like a playset!

Interesting.

The cruiser looks really spiffy, we finally get peach Obi and Qui-Gon, and I've got enough extra hair peicies to give them hair, so that's great. A green Astromech droid, that's rawksome. The back of it makes me think in can explode, or something simmilar.

Echo Base looks really-great. I had no idea what I was expecting, regardless it looks pretty cool. Though the diarama is a bit... bland, the goodies are nice. 2 Hoth troopers and an additional pair of Snowtroopers is great. The E-Web looks nice, but I liked the one that came with the 2nd Falcon better. The Probe Droid looks fantasticly done, though. The turret is a bit boring, but it captures the shape enough. The snowspeeder looks good, and the crane is the icing on the cake.

Definately gonna be getting both.

The cruiser's spiffeh, no doubt about that, but Hoth Base is amazing! The diorama's not the greatest, but it still could be used as a nice barricade/bunker for the Rebel forces. The Snowspeeder's a HUGE bonus, definitely didn't see that coming. I was expecting a speeder-bike or summat. And the fact that it seems to be the best-designed Snowspeeder so far definitely doesn't hurt. 2 of each side plus Luke and a pilot is a nice amount of figs, plus the troops have backpacks. Backpacks = good. The turret's awesome, and the probe droid is magnificently designed. Great job, Lego.

I'm expecting it to be around $50 USD...think that's feasible? I hope so, 'cause that's what my Lego Gift Certifiacte's worth.

Seriously, though. Lego's so great at SW playsets, yet they always make ships. *sigh*

Have to say that Echo Base is dissapointing. I like the troops but thats it. Nice new snowspeeder though.

That .1% will come back to haunt you. 919 pieces means that we will be shelling out at least $90, but I'M 99.9% sure that it will cost $100. The Hoth Base is rather suckish, mainly because I was expecting a bigger base, not a badly redisined Snowspeeder and a tiny door. Hopefully the Republic Gunship will not disapoint me like these sets.

Radiant VII: 89.99 USD
Echo Base: 49.99 USD

And I'd like to clear up some other things. Zaktan606, if you're saying the MTT is the only $100+ (in USD) that isn't UCS, you'd have to count the previous Millenium Falcons, AT-AT, and ISD, cause they're the same price. If you say that they aren't more than $100, so they shouldn't count, well, the MTT is the same price, so the same goes for the MTT.

From what I heard, TLC stopped making the minifig sets because Hasbro threw a fit, because they thought the minifig sets weren't building toys (which TLC had the exclusive license to) and the minifig sets were more like action figure (which Hasbro had the exclusive license to).

Anyway, I hope LEGo re-makes the tie Fighter with sand blue completely for the body and wing joints, and Sand blue for the wing design. The blue looks strange...
