Guys, should I buy the Clone Scout Walker? Is it good? It's costs only 9.99 Euro.

EDIT:and what about the Droid Tri Fighter?

Taishura: God of the Ice
Get the Clone Scout Walker it is AWSOME but I don't know about the Droid Tri-Fighter I never got it yet
Viper
Yes, the Clone Scout Walker is definitely worth it. Not only is the set itself great, but you get a red Clone Trooper with a blaster.
Bakuta
I also agree that you should get the Clone Scout Walker. Very worth it. If nothing else, it gives fine pieces for Star Wars MOCs. It is a very affordable set that includes a Clone Trooper. All other sets are above 50 US dollars that have Clone Troopers. I am thinking about getting the Droid Tri-Fighter next, for the peices for Separatist MOCing.

I'm not sure if this was already stated. My computer is a bit slow and I couldn't go through all the other pages. . .

Why does the Wookie Catamaran have only one engine? Isn't it supposed to have two? (Like it does in the movie)
Toa Zakir
The catamaran changed to 2 engines very late in the instruction stage. No time to Moderator merchandise.

bUt in the Visual dictionary, it does say that no catamaran isunique, so anything goes...
Vissonari
Hey, it's an engine. It works.

And the reason it's blue is because you can't get purple LEDs that small, so Lego aren't going to fix it.

[color=green]White LED + purple blade = purple glow.

Err...white LEDs are just as expensive to get miniatirized as purple ones so it wouldn't be doing LEGO any favours. Also, I bought the Trifighter yesterday and was a bit narked becuse the Buzz Droid does not roll in a ball. Bit tedious but there you go...

I have all the EIII sets i think my favorite would be the CTT even though the light up sabers were a dissapointment. The GGC was a good set the GG minifig was good to.ARK-170 was cool to DVT was a plain set like the other small $7 sets
Slash
Isn't GGC the only set where you can get a Grievous mini-fig?
Vorahk1Panrahk2
Yup. Unless Lego releases another set you can get grievous in. He wasn't in too many scenes that would make a good set. Though he would make a really good technic set.

The new Vader head design looks less wrinkled and more injured (younger, essentially). They did that so it connects in the Transformation set. If you look at the Vader face next to Anakin's burnt one, they're identical in design, the only difference being the color.

And he doesn't have eyebrows in this one unlike the Final Dual II set. Personally, I like this one better. It shows more emotion and looks sort of, sad. Actually, a wierd thing happened to me with the Vader Minifig Head. At school, my teacher caught me playing with a helmetless Vader fig. She told me to put it away. As I was putting it away, I said it was a very ugly Lego minifig. She asked to see it. I showed her. She said it was cute because it had scars and bruised and it was grey. Wierd huh?

You're right.A Technic/Bionicle Grievous figure would be awesome. He would be tall, very posable, with four arms splitting action and with four lightsaber just like the Darth Vader set, only light blue and green instead of red.

Clone Turbo Tank

Wookie Catamaran

Wookie Attack

General Grievous Chase

Arc 170

THANKS!!!!

CCT Prose:

Fun to play with

Awsome wheel suspension system (it is suspension, right? I can never remember)

Lots of pretty cool functions/minifigs

Somewhat challenging to build

Cons:

Can only be picked up from the bottom (Don't pick it up by the top plate, itl come right off)

Guns aren't too big. (compared with movie edition)

difficult to turn around (but sliding it works, too)

wrong name (supposed to be Juggernaut)

General Grievous chase pros:

Very fun to play with

Comes with General Grievous

A good job with the transformation function

Cons:

Boga isn't that good

Difficult to position General Grievous in a good lightsaber duel position

ARC-170 pros:

Fun to play with

Good mechanisms (bombs dropping, etc)

3 clone poilets

Cons:

Can't set on the ground wing wings open, unlike X-wing

Flimsy wings

A bit wide.

Those are the only sets out of the 5 you wanted that I own. If anyone wants to add anything, feel free.
Rua Lewa
I'm considering getting the turbo tank, I'd like the X wing and some of the other older sets but they are nearly impossible to find these days.

There ya go.

And Taishura: Super Saiyan 5, I've got a review of the other two.

Wookie Attack

Pros

You get treads!
Only set with battle droids
The spider droid's debut
Two Wookiees
Great playability for battles

Cons

Overpriced (in my opinion)
3 separate small sets, worth like $7, $5, and $3, so annoying
only 2 droids, one goes in the tank, so one extra

Overall

Good set for battles, but if you've got extra cash only

Wookiee Catamaran

Pros

Great extra functions (bombs, missiles)
Luminara Unduli Lightsaber light-up
2 Clone Troopers
Yoda, Chewbacca, and Wookiee Figures
Shiny Metallic pieces

Cons

Not at all accurate (based on inaccurate prototype, the clone thing doesn't exist in the movies)
Bombs loseable easily
Hard to build (for the inexperienced)
WAY overpriced, big, but lots of open space

Overall

Not bad. If you want the lightsaber, sure, but you need a lot of cash for not a lot of pieces. But the minifigs are nice, especially for the lightsabers.

There you go.

And I got the mini ARC and mini Interceptor. Not bad...but not great either.

It's AT-RT (All-Terrain Reconasense-Transport) and the the one from Return of the Jedi is AT-ST (All-Terrain Scout-Transport). If you are confused and find no Lego AT-RT, it's because Lego calls it Clone Scout Walker. I read a little EU stuff so if the RT-ST exists, tell me, otherwise, I know of no RT-ST.

Great ideas vahkimetru! Yoda vs the Emperor really interests me,it would make a great set wich I would surely buy.And about The Invisible Hand...why not putting a Grievous minifig in the set? Afterall,it's his flagship. And a Dooku minifig, too. And maybe the escape pod where Grievous escapes, too. It would make it an even better set.

What about this?

General Grievous (Techinic set) $39.99

General Grievous is the Supreme leader of the Separists Droid Army.Becoming part droid,he gained the ability to split his arms into four.So does this new awesome Lego Technic figure, rotating the weel on his back.Open the mechanical chestplate to reveal his heart! Those ideas of Vahkimetru's are very Lego-esque, and I agree that there needs to be a V-Wing set and a UCS Venator-Class Star Destroyer. But why would it be just over a foot long?? The UCS Star Destroyer is like a meter long.

And I think it would be very un-Lego to have the AT-AP battery-powered. That kind of stuff goes with Technic, Racers, or Duplo. A regular Lego set should be kid-powered.

And you seem to want to put excessive amounts of minfigs. Just a few tips to maybe help you out, but you have the basic idea. smile.gif

I agree as well. While Lego would never release it, I'd love to see a Venator Destroyer like this one here at brickshelf. A Providence cruiser would be a good UCS as well.

That first Invisible hand set Chronicler of Ko-koro posted sounds pretty good actually, too many SBD's though. How would lego pull off the force thing though...hmm

Wow. miss a day or so and have to spend so much time catching up. I certainly do like that idea of a General Grievous Technic fig.

Anyways, the only set I've picked up recently is the Mini-ARC. Not too shabby of a set, but since they're exclusive to TRU, it's a bit more than a cheap Mini-Set would cost.
