Target is a really good place to look; three nearby ones that I went to had a full supply of sets, ranging from early 2007 to 2008.

I saved the stickers, too; the thing is, you can't put them on really light-colored bricks, which limits the choice a bit. Hopefully your iPod isn't white.

I sure hope these are real. The magna droid starfighter looks a whole lot like a Utapaun Porax-83 starfighter to me.

I can't wait to see pix of those new sets listed on brickset. I have wanted sets of some of those vehicle for a VERY long time!!! I hope the RGS has the shark face and stripes like in Clone Wars Volume 2, but i wouldn't expect it to.

P.S. Is the new Lego Star Wars game The two earlier games with other things added or is it something totally different?

I saw the new sets on brickshelf. I hope that they are sets, I've been wanting a Magna droid for a while. I want a Rogue Shadow really bad. The lego store doesn't have it yet, and either does my TRU.

Well, if it's okay to talk about them, then here's my opinion:

AT-TE: It looks okay. Five minifigs! Hopefully, the two clones will be Ep. II. The third minifigs is Anakin Skywalker, but what are the last two? It looks like one-word names. The first one looks it starts with A, but I don't think it's Asoka like some people think. It's looks too long for Asoka. Maybe two more letters. The third; it looks like it has four letters and starts with M, but I don't think it's Maze the ARC. When's the last time LEGO has advertised clones by their actual names? It's always aerial trooper, Star Corps trooper, shocktrooper, etc. When's the last time you saw a clone advertised as Bly in a LEGO set? TLC may have changed this, but I doubt it for some reason. I like the STAP. I hope it's the exact same as in the droid BP. That way it'll fit with my STAP I have. It must also include a battle droid if it comes with a STAP. I like it, but I think some detailing could be revised.

V-19: Looks a lot better than I expected. One thing that irks me right now: It looks it suffers the same problem as the B-Wing: One side will be studs and the other will be studless. I don't like that when it's something like the V-19. Looks like a Star Corps trooper in the cockpit. I hope that's a prelim.

P-38: Looks pretty cool, but I won't be picking this up until I've bought everything else I want to. The caption under the minifigs look like they read MagnaGuards or Magnadroids. Doesn't look like it says super battle droids.

Overall, I'm pleased, but I want to see the gunship.

Does Lego Star Wars THe Complete Saga for the DS have ounty hunter missions or any bonus levels whatsoever. Because the gold bricks just dont seem to add up. 30 levels times 4, for completion of story, TJ story, TJ FP, and Minikit. That 120 plus the 12 minigames thats 132 where do the extra 16 come into play, not to mention vehicle levels dont have freeplay mode so it would be more like the exra 22. SO are there other bonus missions/secrets.

I don't know, something about that scheme seems too colorful to me. It's probably because the dark red looks like or is red in that prelim, and that blue STAP in the corner.

i just got myself the clone wars jsf, AT-AP, and the rogue shadow.

I got the Rogue Shadow. I will review it:
Package: It is giant. It is not easy to miss it, among all the other boxes. It is very cool, with the Rogue Shadow flying over a planet and explosions around. On the back there is some of it's mechanisms.
Building: It was extremely fun to build it. I loved how the pieces were in the plastic containers, and you would build it one container at a time. It made it easier to build, and it saved time. I had to change a couple of things while building, but they were only minor.
Set design: The Rogue Shadow is awsome, from wherever you look at it. I really cannot critique it on how it looks, because it is awsome.
Playability: The Rogue Shadow has many hidden compartments, which are my favorite part. There is the launcher, the gun area, and the rockets. Although they look awsome, when you turn it upside down, they open up. Still, the Rogue Shadow is awsome to fly around with.
Minifigs: They are awsome. Darth Vader is battle-damaged, but he comes with his helmet. Juno Eclipse comes with an imperial hat, and some blond hair. The Aprentince is cool, with one arm with a sleeve, and one not. He also has a scratch or some lightsaber mark on his stomach.
Final Thoughts:

The pros definitly outway the cons. I would recomend without a second thought.

AT-TE looks a lot betterrrrrrrr, imo. The walker is a lot higher off the ground as you can see. I also see two missle pod shooters in the sides between the front guns as well. As for the figurines I can see it is Anakin Skywalker, Clone Troopers (x2) and 2 others I cannot read at all.

I really don't fancy that V-19 to be honest. Looks too much like the B-Wing and the Arc Star Fighter which was quite flimsy.

Midnight sounds cool. It and the TIE Defender sound like the best of the summer sets.

Trust me, the Gold Bricks do add up. There are 148 Golden Bricks in the game, and this is where you find them:

Yeah there is bounty hunter levels. They are fun, but the ones from 4-6 are the same as the original trilogy. Isn't duel mode for it fun? All of the levels are new, and it is so fun. One thing I don't like is that you can't make a character with thermal detonators this time. Especially since I just got the Super Thermal Detonator bonus. Man, is it fun to blow up lots of people.

Well, personally, I think a better way of saying that is "The pieces you get do not quite match with the price you pay", because for example the blue Jedi Starfighter released in 2007 had something like 580 pieces, plus a new mold and new printings, but it only cost $50, when it could've been more because of the new mold and printings. That set was something I gladly paid $50 for. I knwo that sounds a little winded, but it annoys me when people put down as a con the price, even if it's very reasonable. Personally, though, I think $40 would've been a better chance. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like there's no new molds, just printings, although the printings could be what drove the price up.

I've also been wondering this, does the bottom of the ship have a gap?


It's good that it's higher, but I really wish the missile launchers weren't there. They looks out of place. IMO, the missiles are good for things like cannons at a base, or like how they were used in the BIONICLE playsets, but they're bad on most ships. It could get taken out, though. From what I heard, the AT-ST originally had a flick-fire missile.


By Midnight, do you mean Twilight? We don't know if TIE Defender is going to be a set. It was rumored, but a set called Droid Gunship with the same set number was also rumored. We don't know what it is going to be, though either one would be sweet.

Well, I think it is a great set for $50. I would gladly buy it compared to the Slave 1, or Jedi Starfighter, because it has a much more fun build, and it is much more solid. It also has Darth Vader, his aprentince, and Juno Eclipse. They are all new (darth vader is different then the normal). I was just saying that $50 dollars was a lot. There is no gap at the bottom of the cockpit, but on the secret hatches there are little gaps. Another thing I didn't like was that you could only fit one person in the cockpit at a time, which is annoying. And by Midnight , I meant Twilight. I was just being hopeful about the TIE Defender . Isn't it weird how on Brickset, it says TIE Defender or Droid Dropship? How would you get shose two mixed up? jk

i hope it's a TIE Defnder. It probably is, considering every other summer set is PT/CW rather than OT. Plus TIE defenders are really cool!

I meant that none of the minifigs have new molds if I'm correct. The apprentice has basic hair, Juno has basic female hair and kepi, and Vader doesn't have any new molds either (the neckpiece is a clever use of a black diver's mask). After looking at the ref pic of the Rogue Shadow, it looks like the cockpit is too big on the set, which means I can Moderator it to be bigger without having to make a new cockpit! Yay!.

On the Republic Gunship, the pic is leaked like others before it, but since no mods seem to be enforcing the rules, I guess I'll talk about it. For the minifigs: I'm curious as to how they will pull Plo Koon off. Asajj is close enough to just use a print, Plo Koon has a completely different shape. They may just just use a standard minifig head instead of a new mold. Look at Ten Numb. The bad thing is they will have cartoony faces. *sobs*. I wonder if they will give Asajj Dooku's curved sabers. Probably not, but I can be wishful. If Obi's included, I hope he has a new torso print and new hair like Ani. It looks like there will be clone troopers but no pilot. If that is true, the pilot in the V-19 will most likely be a regular clone as well.

On to the gunship itself. It looks bigger. There are several improvements, but bad things as well. First improvement is that they used the actual swiveling turrets, as opposed to static ones. You can also the back turret, glad they kept that. There's something black and brown in there, could be a speeder bike, but probably not. I like the bent wings as well. Now for the bad things. The wings are too small for the rest of the model. I hope the ball turrets on the wings have printings. It probably will. Look at the Rogue Shadow and Sith Infiltrator. They didn't have printings originally. I'm also sad that they omitted the side turret-pods. Maybe those grey dishes are the side pods. If so, they should be farther back. If they are pods, they look to flat and aren't close enough IMO. The small room section-thingy where they're holding the side-pods are also too big. I want to know why TLC decided to separate the closing door so that the front part stays closed while the back part moves back when opening. What's up with that sticker on the front with the Kowakian monkey-lizard? I hope it's in the series, but I'll probably leave it off. An ARC gunship would've been a lot cooler thatn that dumb sticker. It looks like they didn't do the bottom half of the pods on the wing again. I'm curious as to why there are grey Technic beams sticking up in the air between the wings. They look pretty dumb right now.

I'm glad to have a gunship, but I'll have to modify it heavily to my liking.

Asajj Ventress shall be MINE! As will Plo Koon! I hope they don't look like toads like the new Anikan, though. I hate the style of the new Anikan fig. It haunts my dreams! I'm wondering what the thing on the side of it is... There's weird print on the side near the front... Oh well! It has awesome new figs so it's good enough for me!

EDIT: Forgot to tell everyone what LEGO SW Sets I got! I got 6212 X-wing, JSF with HD ring (knew already, though), and Hoth Base! My X-Wing came with a deformed piece so I contacted customer service. It'll probably take a loooong time since I'm in Canada and it's Christmas time...

I know I hate the new Anakin head. I hope Plo Koon and Asajj Ventress have better faces.

As for those Technic beams sticking up, that is for the Flick Fire Missles =). Other than that Monkey Sticker, the Ship looks all over awesome and pretty ace.

I sure hope those launchers can fold down, because they would make pretty good missile rotators. It doesn't look like it so far, though. It looks like the bottom two missiles can't even launch because they're blocked.

It's probably a personalisation added by the flight crew. This RC is probably significant in the upcoming series.

I probably won't put the monkey sticker on unless it has some storyline importance soon.

I dunno, I find the image of a Kowakian Monkey Lizard dropping a bomb kinda funny... Not what I would've preferred, though.

Master of Ice and Sonics, there /is/ a bottom to the wing turrets, if you look at the starboard one you can make out a bottom to it. It also appears that there might be ball turrets hidden inside somewhere, I dunno.

But the doors look like they can close. ^^

Hopefully, instead of printing a face on a minifig head, they'll make another new rubber mold for Plo Koon's head, like they did for Kit Fisto. We might get lucky and he may not be anime-looking, too. In fact, in the Clone Wars trailer, Plo Koon looked almost the same as he did in the movies.

Well, sort of. He's kind of less detailed and wrinkly. I just hope they drop the anime style completely... I despise it! Today I went to Toys R Us and the only 2008 LSW sets they had were AT-AP and Hailfire droid and Spider Droid. I bought the Hailfire and spider... It's actually quit good! Though I wish there were some new BPs...

I know, I hate Anakin's toaddy head. It is completely ugly, and doesn't look like him at all. I hope the new jedi are better.

Yeah the new starfighter looks pretty cool. I hope Plo Koon has a Kit Fisto like head. Those heads are a lot cooler then the Anakin toad heads.

i just had a strange thought... What if, since they are uses alot of basic shapes for heads, Asajj is a... mold... With a pointy chin and almost no back to her head... THAT would be creepy...

Thanks for pointing it out. Not as good as a duplicate sphere on the bottom, but at least TLC made an effort. Didn't the doors close on the last one? It won't be that hard to put the front section of the door attached to the back like it should be. Maybe the front part of the door is hiding the side pods. I've noticed that some people elsewhere have said that the gunships in the preview don't have side pods. Let it be known: the gunships they saw in the series had closed doors, and gunships pull their pods in when the close the doors. Yaaaaaayyyyy for Plo Koon!!! The Kowakian monkey lizard is probably the personalified nose-art of that legion. In the preview, clones can be seen defending a building similar to Jabba's palace, and Jabba had a pact with the Republic during the Clone Wars.

Oh yeah, I hate the new faces too.
