I've got it: A minifig-size Tantive IV. Complete with 2-3 Rebel Fleet Troopers, Princess Leia, R2-D2 and C-3PO, Captain Antilles (new figure!), and of course, the Imperial boarding party: Darth Vader and 2-3 Stormtroopers. Maybe, and while this may be a stretch, include Luke fixing up a moisture vaporator on the planet below.

Why not celebrate the 10th Aniversary of LEGO Star Wars with the scene that started it all?

That crossed my mind... But what about a series of dioramas from each movie?
EPI: Darth Maul vs Obi Wan and Qui Gon
EPII: Padme and Anakin eating a meal or at the picnic
EPIII: Anakin vs Obiwan
EPIV: Luke and Leia's jump across the chasm
EPV: 'I am your father'
EPVI: Vader vs Luke

Some other ones would be Yoda vs Dooku, Luke watching the twin suns set, Leia giving the plans to R2, Han about to be frozen (I love you/I know), the Ewok celebration and so on.

I don't know about the sunset scene. While that scene is iconic, I can't see it as being a very good set. There's Luke, his binocs, dozens of tan plates, maybe his home, and that's it. Toss in his garage if you want to, but I can't see it as a very good set. Here's my thoughts on your other ideas:
Duel of Fates (Maul): Good idea, could give TLC a chance to make a new saber hilt for Maul
Picnic or meal from Ep. II: Meh...
Anakin vs. Obi-Wan: Good idea, make it a lot better than that set with LUL minifigs
Jump across chasm: Maybe...
I am your father: I thought the one from Cloud City was pretty good, spruce that up and it would look even better!
Vader vs. Luke: Good, better if you toss in grey Palps.
Yoda vs. Dooku: YES! curved saber hilt, fleshie Dooku, Yoda (even if I already have one). I think that if they did this, they should include Dooku's speeder bike.
Leia giving plans to R2: Meh.
Han before freezing: If they made some good controls and Lando, then yeah.
Ewok party: Maybe...

Oh yeah, you should see that guy's sandcrawler. It's huge!

Master, when I was talking about the sunset being a set I was thinking more of part of a bunch of other dioramas. The Padme-Anakin scene would be a good excuse to include a Padme fig, , and I wouldn't want them all to be lightsaber duels, although that would be cool.

They should start making Expanded Universe sets. Sure, they wouldn't make sense to most fans, but they could do really well with them and sell them even if most people didn't know what they were about. I'd love to see the Battle of Ruusan, or more recently, Jacen's path to the dark side.

Dioramas wouldn't be that great imo, I want a Ship or something that would actually blend in with my other sets. Tantive IV and Padme Ship would be cool.

Here's another idea: the scene in AotC where Ani talks to Watto. Make the unipod droid and the cart-thingy, along with some of his storefront. It would:
give some younger fans Watto, this time with shorter legs
Anakin (not really needed, but nice)
Padme!!!
The storefront and unipod droid would blend in well and diversify MOC Tatooine scenes. I saw a pretty good unipod cart, but the image gallery was on a LSW forum, so I can't link to it, and I can't seem to find it in his BS gallery. Oh yeah, I like it when you call me "Master" .

BTW, psst, Torhuki, take a look at some of the new sets, especially the Rogue Shadow and Ani's Jedi Starfighter .

I just got Anikan's Starfighter!It's really awesome!If you want I can do a small review of it.I noticed something weird on S@H.Under the "What's New" section,it has under "Clone Wars", Imperial Dropship.There's a problem with this considering the fact that there couldn't be any "Imperial" ships because the Empire wasn't around back then.Also the fact that the Clone Troopers were known as the Clone Troopers,not Stormtroopers.

Yeah, it's just categorized wrong. And I wouldn't want to buy Ani's starfighter. The reason? His face. *shudders* It sickens me.

Try replacing the face with the Ep. III Anakin's from the 2005 Anakin's Jedi starfighter (if you have it). I saw a pic of something like that somewhere, and it looked pretty good. Come to think of it, they've released all versions of personal Ani fighters (not including Vader's Sith starfighter) except for the coolest one: The Azure Angel. Why does Ani have so many fighters? If I was him, I'd just stick with the Azure Angel II.

Looks like a new 74-Z speeder bike, and It looks nice! Asajj is good, Plo Koon is good, ARCs are awesome, Magnas are awesome, and the Republic Gunship has Ep.2 Pilots! They look nice! And that green thing in the AT-TE looks like a huttlet. Ashoka is okay, Ani is icky, and Obi has been ickified. Sets I'll get: Gunship, Magna Droid Fighter. I can go without the other two.

Those are beautiful! The figures look really good... I like how they made the other Jedi! Also, the sets and Asajj Ventress look great! I might get these, they're awesome!

Oh yeah, Plo Koon rocks. The weird blob thing is weird though... And the magna guards have EF robot arms! Thats better than the other droid arm. Thanks Lego!

I've got to say, I'm a little disappointed. But first, I'll critique each set design.

P-38 fighter: Looks good. Looks like som nice playability, with the engines opening. Too bad some pieces are stickered.
V-19: Again, looks good. Too bad the main wing is studs down on one side.
AT-TE: The stickers really add some cool detail, but why is there a gap in the middle? Also, the container is nice, but I wish there was some place to store it instead of just having it stick up in the back.
Republic Gunship: Looks good, not sure about the flickfire missiles sticking out at the top. The bacta tank or whatever it is looks nice. It looks like there will be a lot of comparments like under the cockpit. The new speeder bike is cool as well. I'm glad the gunpods are printed. Too bad there are no gunner pods.
My thoughts on the minifigs:

Magnaguards: The new cape is a nice touch, and the legs and arms are well chosen. Why couldn't they have put the trans-purple cone on the outside of the staff? I have to say, I don't like the head. I wish they had done a printed minifig face, or a less thin face. Magnaguards faces are actually rounder than the new minifig's faces.
Asoka: She's a Togruta, right? Then where are her two top lekku? Her face is also pretty stupid.
Rex: Beautiful. The new pistols are cool (why grey though?), and the new cloth pieces are perfect. The printing is also superb. Also: the new clone helm has a rangefinder!
Clone trooper: Looks like a new torso.
Rotta: Eh, don't know how the character will look.
Obi: The new hair is cool, the face is horrible. Nice new torso, too.
Plo: He looks too ornj to me. Also, he looks like an egghead. I think they should've stretched out the head a bit.
Asajj: The new hilts are nice, and the skirt too, but her face looks creepy. Torso's nice.
Cody: Beautiful. Same as I said for Rex, except Cody has a visor!

I think it's just a blank flesh head, like the stormies in 6211 ISD, but since we see more of clones' faces than stormies, you never know. I wouldn't put too much hope on it, though.

She hasn't developed them to full size yet. She's just a teenager. her back lekku and top lekku aren't fully developed. She's supposed to look like that.

Even if they have a Jango head, you shouldn't be able to see the head. It should just be the black 'skin'. But the gunship, P-38, and V-19 look awesome. I'll definitely get some of these.

Wow. I hated the winter sets for Star Wars, but these are amzing. I had already seen the Republic Gunship, but the minifig pics look great. I hope I win a contest, so I get 'any set of your choice worth up to $100!" because then I would so get the Gunship, and use cash for Bionicle sets.

I don't like the Magnaguards, or their ship. But the Republic vehicles look awesome, especially the Gunship. I'm definitely buying that. And I might buy Rex seperately, too.

IMO, Grevious should've been done like this. Articulate legs, movable neck so you can look down on Obi while hunched, better legs and skinny old battle droid legs. I would add a tooth plate to the feet, though.

I'm stuck on the Battle of Endor in LSW II, on PS2. I get up to the point where the grapple characters stand on buttons, and the droids go on to their buttons. I've built the staircase, but the droids want to follow me and try to get up on to my buttons. So I direct them over, but then they get off and try to get on to mine again! I think the problem might be one player needs to be a droid, while the other player is a grappler, but I'm not sure. Also, I need help for Dagobah. Both I haven't unlocked Free Play on, and I keep getting stuck.
