I heard that the fighter tank will be a Target exclusive along with the yellow Jetrax T6, so it won't come out until later. On the bright side, you can go to My Brickshelf and drool until it comes out.

I want the RAG and the Republic Fighter Tank. I want ot get the AT-Te because of Rex (mainly because of all the nice weapons and accesories (sp?) he has, and secondly because my friend will envy me if I get him) but I don't like the AT-TE! I love the new RAG, just awesomeness all around!

I just LOVE the sets this year! This is about the first time I've ever been this excited about the sets! (Except for Twilight.......*shudder*.........) I can't figure out if I want to get the V-19.........theres just something about it that makes me want to buy it! What do you guys think?

I'm definently going to get the Republic Fighter Tank, my sister wants the Republic Attack Gunship, but so do I! I'm thinking of making us both buy one becasue it's so awesome........ Those are probably the only two I want besides the Sepretists Spider Droid.

well I'd say stay away from the big sets, because they have a bad price to piece value and not enough clones, but I don' know anything about the other 2

Look, when I was a fresh teenager and Attack of the Clones was all the rage, I recall going to Wal-Mart the day after Midnight Madness and being confronted with a similar conundrum. What to get? Lego sets? The really cool action figures? A lightsaber? My 13-year old brain decided compromise was the best path, so I got the two smallest Attack of the Clones Lego sets, a Jango Fett action figure, and the leftover money went to something to eat. Eventually, I did buy more action figures. I also got a few more Lego sets, like Jango Fett's Slave I and the Super Battle Droid figure. But that was it.

In retrospect, there was an appreciable amount of money spent on those action figures. Enough to have bought one of the AotC sets I never got, Bounty Hunter Pursuit. Plus, 2002 was a REALLY good year for Bionicle, so a lot of funds got diverted to that as well. But the point is: six years later, those action figures are either cramped in a dark box in my closet after only a few months of play, while my AotC sets were giving me amusement as recently as early this year. LEGO is a gift that never goes out of style, so while the new Clone Wars figures, vehicles, and role-playing toys from Hasbro look really cool, DO NOT BUY THEM! Enjoy them you may, but in the end, only the Lego sets that you bought will truly stay with you.

P.S. I also never got the original Republic Gunship. But in my old age, I learned my lesson and am happy to announce that I am now the proud owner of one of the new Clone Wars gunships from Lego. Well worth the $118.88 I spent for it.

I have to agree with that, That's why I only buy LEGO Bricks.

I'm gonna get the gunship tomorrow ! I am only $40 (USD) away from being able to buy the AT-TE as well.

I recently went to a local Wal-Mart and saw 5 Clone Wars sets; the RGS, the AT-TE, the Magnaguard Fighter, the V-19 Torrent, and the Droid Gunship. I've come to believe that the DG is actually part of this opening line-up, while the TX-130 Republic Tank is actually due to release, as someone said, at Target sometime later. And then, of course, there's the Homing Spider Droid and the Twilight, which I did not see there.

I would review the Republic Attack Gunship, but unfortunately, I cannot build it. I have to fly back to college in a few weeks and with all the other things I have to take care of in the meantime, I won't have time to build it, much less enjoy it. Plus, I am being forced to take down any and all Lego sets taking up shelf space in my room, anyway. However, I did manage to open up the box and examine the bagged pieces.

Let me tell you, a great build awaits. When I compared the instructions to those of the original Republic Gunship, this new version is actually larger and more piece-intensive. Nonetheless, both ships, old and new, have an almost identical exterior design. Of great interest to me is an additional bag of pieces that allow you to have not two, but FOUR of Asajj Ventress' lightsaber handles. Plus, you get two bags of clone trooper equipment, so even your standard clone can stand beside Cody dressed in a kama and range-finder headset.

Sadly, my gunship was missing its sticker sheet, so I cannot decorate it so it resembles the "Lucky Lekku" or "Crumb Bomber." And the box is really big. If you thought the boxes for the original AT-AT or 2004 Millenium Falcon were big, this new Republic Attack Gunship dwarfs them. It is so long. Hope you have the arm strength to carry that sucker out of the store, hahah.

You could probably return it and get another one if you want the stickers, or Lego might send you new ones.
