What do you think is the best Clone Wars set so far?

The best is probably the LAAT, but I don't have any so I can't really judge. . It has a bunch of new minifigs, and is designed well. Or it looks like it lol.

Yeah, out of all of them, it looks the nicest along with the V-19.

Personally, I like the AT-TE. The Homing Spider Droid is not really worth it; I only got it for Fox. The legs make it unsturdy and wobbly. I don't have any other sets to compare with, but the V-19 and Gunship look sweet.

It depends. If you've got the extra $30 or so, I'd say go for the Gunship. But if you're tight on cash, get the AT-TE. IT's wonderfully built.

I have 50 bucks and i'm not sure what to get, the rogue shadow, reserve the force unleashed, or a different set, what do you guys think?

I'd say if you can get five bucks more get the V-19, but otherwise, get the Rogue Shadow.

DON"T waste $50 on the Rouge Shadow because I'm pretty sure that you can get it cheaper on Ebay or Bricklink.(well maybe Ebay) But then, all of the Clone Wars sets are overpriced...

I've noticed something about the new lego star wars clone wars sets. they are pitiful! they are "lego star wars:CLONE WARS" sets, but guess what!??! the max amount of clones is two per set! per each CLONE WARS set! and the twighlight, the ship that anakin pilots, that set, that hundred-dolllar set, only includes two, and if you count that hutt-thing, three, minifigures. also, some may include more minifigures, but ni my (closed) topic, people didn't realize that I only wanted clones! someone sugested that I order them from replacement parts, but lego does not put the clone hemets inreplacement parts!!! also, storylinewise, how come each set comes with one commander clone, and one regular clone! in the storyline, commander cody commands thousands of clone, but do they only control ONE CLONE in the lego set? and as mentioned in the topic, it is more expensive to manufacture minifugures, but if I buy a set that's over 110 dollars, I want more than five minfigures! point made. they do have a cheaper set with clones. you might not live where it is released, but legoshop.com and walmart sell a giant spider droid or something. maybe it was homing spider droid.... but any way, it includes one super battle droid, two clones, and two battle droids, plus the, well, homing spider droid! you can also order clones from ebay, if your willing to pay six or seven dollars for one!

Yeah but the sets (other then twilight) are extremely awesome. Would lego sets really have thousandths of minifigs? If you get a few sets you will have some clones and battle droids, and an awesome vehicle. I am hoping to get the AT-TE, the Republic fighter tank, and the Seperatist spider droid. I already have some clones and a bunch of battle droid stuff, so it would be pretty even...

If you want lots of clones why not buy a Clone battle pack?

It's only $55? That's a pretty good deal considering it' about twice that in euros. I hope you're right about its price. I just got the Magnaguard fighter, and it is pretty good. On another site with forums, I saw a really cool alternate someone made for it. If I can, I'm getting another one to make the alternate. The minifigures are rwally cool too.

Lol, do you know how much mini-figs cost to make? We may only get about two Clones per set, but we get other characters too, so I wouldn't complain.

It's based on the movie, not Clones.

Does anyone have the fighter tank? I'm thinking of getting it, so just wondering.

The fighter tank doesn't look worth it. I'd suggest the AT-TE, since it seems to be the better selling set. Barely find 'em on the shelves at the local Wal-Mart.

I decided to get the Visual Guide, General Grievous (Not the oversized anime), and a 501st Battalion Trooper. It was worth it.

Because if you didn't notice the Clone battle packs have Clones with phase 2 armor, and I think people want the phase one armor. And it's usually out of stock.

Hey, to me a Clone is a Clone. And there's usually packs of them at the shops I check in...

Yeah, but I don't want Phase II clones running around Geonosis or Jabiim. Historical Accuracy is the key.

Can't tell the difference meself...Well, I probably could if you put the two designs in front of me. But I'm not really an avid SW fan. I just watch the movies and like the sets. I don't take it to the higher level

the phase II armor looks kinda ugly

I just finished building and adapting my rouge shadow, Its a very, very cool ship with lots of hidden weapons. the only problem was that the cot pit only has room for Juno and light sabers, so I made the cargo area big enough for the apprentice, and put a clip for the light saber on the outside. Damaged vader is neat, but not too outstanding. So I say this set is defiantly worth the $50

Yeah, the phase 2 armor doesen't look as cool. I wish they would have kept phase 1 armor in episode 3.

But the Phase II armor was necessary to show the visual transition into Imperial stormtrooper armor, while still resembling the Phase I armor. If you hold up an Episode II or Clone Wars minfig and compare it to a stormtrooper minifig, they don't look as similar as the Episode III clone and a stormtrooper. And the Episode III clone still bears enough resemblance to an Episode II clone for audiences of all ages to make that connection.

I have to say, the new Asajj is freaky. It's even more over-exaggurated than Asajj in the new movie. I'd want an Asajj like this.

I thought the phase 2 made up for their ugliness with their colors and markings showing specialty, but I love the new, more customized phase 1

I know that, and I thought about posting that. But I still don't really like phase 2 armor as much though.
