No kidding. Why is everybody so crazy over the A-Wing? Also, one of the more dominant questions in my mind: What is wrong with flesh-colored minifigs?

WHAT? If you guys think that dark red does not go well with white, say it to my minifig-scale Tantive IV. Do you know how many Tusken Raider Encounters I bought for that? I think the A-wing looks beautiful, and that entire wave looks like it's got my name on it.

The only thing really irritating me about the 2006 sets is that they're almost all re-releases. The Interceptor has been released in UCS and there have been 3 other TIEs. The B-Wing and A-Wing, well, duh. The Slave I is remade, and it's a recolored version of Jango Fett's Slave I.
I just want that B-Wing. It looks really good. Perhaps an A-Wing because I didn't get the original. Still, it seems like I'm not going to like next year as much as this year.

Yo, comapre the Slave I and Jango's, they're vastly different.

I used to have a Star Wars Lego set but I lost it.
If you compare the original Slave I for Boba Fett with the new one for 2006, you will think Megabloks made the first one.
Look, I never bought any of the sets planned for re-release next year. Back in 2000-2001, I had this gut feeling they were pretty bottom of the barrel when it came to set design. I knew Lego could make better A-Wings, B-Wings, and Slave 1's. My conviction was further proven when in 2002, a Slave I for Jango Fett was released, looking vastly superior to his son's. Now Lego has made new versions of not only this, but two of the coolest Alliance craft as well. I think there was plenty of reason to re-release these sets and not make new ones (TIE Interceptor and V-Wing being the only exceptions). The old ones were just terrible. And if this irks you, then rest assured Lego will produce some great new sets come summer of 2006.

I'm looking forward to the Tie Interceptor the most, cuz i'm an imperial junkie, but all of them rock. At least this slave one is in the right scale, the original was about half-scale, compared to minifigs. I missed out on all the originals, so this is HUGE!!!

Hey guys, I was doing some store hopping a few days ago, and spotted a "Lego Star Wars" for the Gamecube take-me-to-the-register things at TRU. There wasn't any package artwork where the tmttr things were....Went to Wal-Mart earlier and also spotted Lego Star Wars for the Gamecube as well.
Was just wondering, does anyone know when it came out? I hadn't seen a release date or anything advertising it's release.

I have a question about the Lego Star Wars Game (PC): In the Mustafar level, there is a platform with a Minikit canister on it, but I can't get to it with Jango Fett, Jar Jar, General Grievous, his Bodyguards, or Astromech droids. Can someone help me?

Hm. You can't get it with astromechs? I could always
get it. It is possible with Jar Jar and the Body Gaurd.
Just Keep on trying.
Oh, nevermind, I got it. I climbed to the top of the tower and used an astro droid to go to the platform to the left of it, and changed to a jumping character. I now have all the canisters and the superkit, so I probably won't play it as much now. 
I don't know if any one's mentioned this, but the TIE Interceptor, A-Wing, B-Wing, Slave I, and V-Wing are now on the Shop & Home website.

TLC can't make minifig packs, 'cos if I ain't mistaken Hasbro has the action figure license. They can only release vehicles or the playset-type things - the minifigs are an added extra. I think.
Not ll of the ones I listed are EU sets...
And yea, Jedi packs and Clone packs, and droid packs would be awesome!

Errr... you se the Juggernaut in epIII for a collective time of just 6 seconds and look where that got it.

You know, that is something that could merit a poll, but we can't because here in LGD we are pollless. I myself think that most colours go well with most colours, and here are those that 'work' for me:
Dark Red/White
Green/Red
Yellow/Blue
Dark Blue/Black
Black/White
Any other colour-scheme suggestions would be good.
Not owning the X-Wing I can't say, but I like the ARC-170 and the X-Wing workas on the same principle, so follow your heart.
