While looking at the poster of Kanohi that I got with my Lewa I saw something very strange... the first letters of the name match, the second match or the first matches with the second. I don't know what It means, but I think it is very strange
darkmonkey
can you explain better
queenmommagohma
??? what letters match? i got a toa poster with lewa, but no kanoi poster...
Huki2
Okay lets start with Ta-Koro
Hau     Kaukau  Kakama
Huna   Rau       Komau

Miru     Akaku
Mahiki   Matata

an exception is Onu-Koro

I don't think so because the Stone and the Ice elements both have the letter "A"
Robo~Toa
oooooooooooooooooooooooooooook im really confused now how does hak hak mama mean an element? :nervous:
Kaiapu
Hmm...  It doesn't seem like there's too much to go on.  You're thinking "H" stands for heat, right?  I think we're reading a little too much into it here.  :plain:

pakari

ruru

 .................... :plain:
what? like it'd be

puru or raru or auru

Huki2, those posts were forty minutes apart. I have my doubts that you did that by accident. It's hard not to miss the Edit button when posts are that far apart in time. Don't let it happen again.

And no, the letters don't match the element. It's pure coincidence.

he didnt say he dped on accident. I dont really think that it matters, its just a coincidence
Huki2
Umm.. I ment if you combine the names :sarcastic:
Rahu
Wow, there's a mask called an Akaka! :sarcastic:

Anywho, it's just conicidence. Like if my name's Ivan, around 10% or BZ has the same name
Huki2
No I think it means something
MorbuzakhBamboo
I don't think it means something. Maybe LEGO was thinking of Kanohi names carelessly.
Sir Kohran the Great
I can't see what all this is about. It's just the Kanohi names!
TheBlindMan2
its a coincidence DUH!  :sarcastic:

Another thing I missed... this topic is in the wrong forum. Kanohi-relevant discussions belong in the Kanohi forum.

Trust me, Huki2, it's pure coincidence. If they were only the first letters OR the last letters - not both - and they spelled out a word mysteriously associated to the Bionicle Universe, sure, it can mean something. But names having some of their letters in common with others? That seems a bit farfetched. I salute you for recognizing this, but really, it's just like love at first sight; it just happens and someone notices.

huh? whats that sposed to mean??
Amalga
It's a metaphor, blindman.

Love at first sight: You meet this incredibly attractive person and instantly you're head over heals with him or her. But you don't know that yet until that one night when you find out.

Just like the Kanohi names. They've been around for at least a year now, and it took that long for someone to notice the purely coincidential 'matches' in the first and second letters of the Kanohi names.

thats a pretty far-fetched metaphor

YES I ALREADY KNEW WHAT A METAPHOR IS...

a metaphor is an example or the comparing of two items of similar meaning!

WOOHOO!!! I ROCK
Huki2
It does mean something because almost every Bionicle word is from the New Zealand native launguage
burningFlameSword
Will someone clear this for me...
I still don't understand!
Toa1.5
That's odd, about the language, I thought they were all suposed to be japanese???

Besides, this is headed nowhere. obviously the guys at LEGO put a lot of syllables into a hat, and pulled them out to make names.

:kakama:  :miru:  :hau:
