Full Version: Was Alexander Skinnerton Really an Author?

Well, as you all know, a Masterbuilder is someone who works at Futura and designs great big Lego structures. In October, when the Bionicle 'Book' was to be released by Alexander Skinnerton, we thought it would be a written novel, or a comic at least with pieces.

When we learned it came with 15 animals, like the Ussal, Husi, Fikou and more. It was cancelled.

Now, we have a 'Masterbuilder' set that has these. What happened to the book? There was never a book.

In my opinion, I think Alexander Skinnerton is a Masterbuilder who had designed the 15 animals. So, they made a Masterbuilder set, called which because all animals were made by a Masterbuilder, Alexander S., which makes perfect sense to me.

Then, book stores like Barnes and Noble thought that Alexander Skinnerton was an author of a Bionicle book, and that is how they listed it. This still makes sense to me.

Does this make sense to you?

Makes total sense to me, but they probably delayed it because they hadnt made all 15 animals yet.

That isnt my point. I onyl mean that I dont think Alexander Skinnerton isnt an author, but a Lego Masterbuilder.

Actually, Masterbulder sets are LEGO sets that come w/ a nice box, a book, and pieces. The book has instructions and info on the diff. sets. So, I think the MBS for Bionicle wouldve been like that. Except the one they gave us had no book... Geez, not even the names of the animals!  :cripes: Darn, no cripes emoticon.

I havent seen any other Masterbuilder sets, but maybe they are special because they were all designed by different Masterbuilders?

A really interesting thought!  This isn't really a therory though, so I'm taking it over to General.
