Lots of bad guys say they are related to the good guys just to make them (good) think that they (good) are doing something bad, when they're not. It's a diversional tactic and it evidentily worked quite well on you people.

Check this. Remember on KP when it had that chart that suggested that the bohrok and toa evolved from the same thing? Well maybe the bohrok are trying to destroy the toa to prove themselves the better evolution. That would explain why Cahdok said "You dared to challenge your brothers... you must fall!"
