Does anyone else think that Lego is moving the storyline of Bionicle a little too fast now??? I mean the Bohrok just got here this summer and now were already talking about a new line of 6 figures: the Toa Nuva.

Now your probably gunna yell at me for this one but I think the Nuva shouldn't be realeased till right arounnd christmas (streches storyline and get Lego some Big money for making cool new sets)

Well anyways what do you guys think???

Galactic Frost
Yeah, the storyline is moving a bit too quick. Maybe it's just because we're getting the info ahead of time that it seems this way. I always thought that the Nuva were coming out in 2003 and the exo, bahrag, and boxor were just coming out really soon. Still got to wonder how the vahi fits into all of this.
Exo-Infected-Kopaka
I bet the vahi comes into this by if you read very closley at the bottom of this link here it asks will the new found power save matanui or be its doom? Now the turaga can use the masks powers right? Well then somebody(chronicler maybe) would have to go back in time to stop the toa from becoming the nuva's. How will they beat the bahrag queens then though? Who knows?

P.s. is that a good theory? please messenge me for comments.
Aki
I agree completely. Lego is going way to fast.  The Bahrag are not even in stores, and they are already outdated.  The Bohrok did not last long enough at all!  I just finished collecting them, only to see them outdated.  The Exo suits are outdated, and they haven't even been released in stores yet! (well, maybe some stores) As much as I like the Nuva, Lego is going way too fast.

Wow, I thought I was the only one who felt this way. :sarcastic:

I think so, too. I don't understand why LEGO would retire a set (Exo, Bahrags, Boxor) before regular people who shop at Wal-Mart could buy it.  Do you think the sets could make a comeback?  What other use are they for?  :plain:

Same here GG.

The wierd thing is that it seems the Bohrok really had no purpose. I mean, they were all killed off in like 3 months. Makuta lasted a lot longer. It almost felt like a year.

Yea it really gets on my nerves they also need to make their sets have a longer part in the storyline I mean jeez the Exo was just released and done in the storyline by september... :annoyed2:

Me too. I just bought the Exo, and Bahrag from Lego (via telephone) a couple weeks ago and they were great. Then I read the script for comic eight and the exos are found discarded and then...gone. The exo is one of the best sets. The claw works perfect for clawing the Bahrag and the Bahrags mouth caneasily snap the chest armor down and knock off a Toa's mask. Now they are useless! I feel like the Bohrok arrived yesterday. At least the Krana  aren't obsolite (their going to sell them in the new mask packs) but I already have all mine. I was hoping the Bohrok saga was going to go on for as long as the Quest for the Mask saga went on. I though each Krana would be harder to get than a mask. The comics definatley go to fast. First they meet the Bohrok. Next Gali captures for Krana and Tahu talks to his villagers preparing them for his leave for the quest and Lewa is captured. On the third comic Lewa (with no krana, Gali with for, Pohatu with a couple, Tahu with the big goose egg, as he had just arrived at his village and spoke Onua with a couple Va, and Kopaka with one. Then they go into the nest. Aahhh!

well I think lego is moving a bit to slow I have all the binoicle produts exept 2 rahi and it gets a little boring after awhile but for the bahrag the story line is moving way too fast

You guys or relitivly new (with the exeption of Lewa11) but we knew about the Bohrok in DECEMBER! They started popping up in stores in January and Febuary so they have been here a while too, and you have to take into consideration, as listed above, we are an elite group of bionicle fans, since we are we know about everything about Bionicle ATLEAST two months in advance.

(We had rumrors about the Bionicle Movie around the same time as the Bohrok and it's release is September 2003 so we did really good on that one.)

:kaukau: Hey! I thought I too was the only one that did'nt like what Lego was doing! Yeah, the storyline is moving too fast, as of right now The Bohrok Idea is a wonderful Idea, and Lego's line of Bionicle is doing so well, that it doesn't need to depend on new sets and speacial upgrades to do well. I think that Because of the fact that they keep rushing to get more money, the story and likings to Legos decay from the customer. I DEMAND QUALITY! (you know what I mean, just look at that one post that says that and you'll see a longer version of what I just typed)

who said the bohrok saga is over after the bahrag disappear?

i heard that there were going to be 6 bohrok saga comics, and how many have we seen so far, 3 and a script for the 4th?

plus, as others have said, we know a lot in advance, so many people are just finding out about stuff we've known for what seems like ages!

personally, i think there's going to be more surprises in store for the storyline and the bohrok saga isn't over yet, not by a longshot, that's why it seems the storyline is moving so fast, b/c it's far from over

The Bahrag are not even in stores

yes they are.

Lewa-Miru
The Bahrag are not in many stores yet Rama~Swarm. They are in some but not fully. The Makuta Saga Part 1 lasted no longer in the U.S.(in U.K. they lasted a year 'cause Bionicle came out in Janruary over there) than the Bohrok Saga. They both lasted 6 months about but yes Exo,Bahrag, and Boxor were very short.Maybe they'll make more Boxors with all the fallen Bohrok lying around and use them all to battle Makuta's new servants! And maybe the Toa Nuva will take boats and fishing poles and go back to the Protodermis and fish the Exos out (new evolved ones)! And Maybe some Bohrok Nuva like things And Bahrag Nuva things will come back!
Galactic Frost
I don't think the bohrok are done. I don't know if somebody else has suggested this or not but maybe the bahrag are guarding the vahi, which the toa nuva can use (since it slows down time) to go around hacking away all the bohrok and the bahrag (they disappeared most likely fleeing from the calapse).

The exo suits, as far as we know, are only used to fight the bahrag. What else for? Maybe nothing. What a waste.
arjychad
I really do not mind it, But I do think it might be going a little bit fast! :surprised:
Sir Kohran the Great
I haven't even collected all the Bohrok and they're already beaten! :surprised:
Minglex
well it does keep us occupied....
spyrozyr
Tahu:Oh no!!!  The Bohrok are alive!!!
A few months later...
Tahu Nuva: (sipping a coke) Well, we don't have to worry about that anymore.
Minglex
It would be mega-boring if they just dragged it along
spyrozyr
Actually...
LEGO has the release of the Toa Nuva timed perfectly.  If they released them in Christmas, guys like us would be very, very upset. If they released them earlier, they probably won't  make as much money.

but we're not moving...we're just following them..or do you mean we are too slooooooow...?
Kenito93
Indeed (To ProtMonkey's question). It was all bohrok this year's first months and then the boxor, bahrag and exo came out in June instead of August or July. The boxor, bahrag, and exo were released a few weeks ago and now we're goin' onto nuva.

Lego, you've been moving the bionicle storyline past the speed limit so I'm giving ya a ticket.  evilgrin:  (j/k)
