I'm slightly confused about why everyone is under the impression that the Bohrok are destroyed?

It seems to me that the Bohrok were actually winning before the Toa made it through the wall that wasn't there and found the exos. The Toa were trying to get away and hold them off and then Tahu had to blow himself and the nest up to escape. And nothing indicated to me that they went back to deal with the Bohrok after finding the exos. In fact the comic showed the villagers using the boxors to go into battle with the Bohrok at the same time the Toa were underground so wouldn't that indicate that the Bohrok were still fighting on the surface when the Toa went into battle with the Bahrag twins?

Also didn't it say somewhere (comic, KP or MOD) that the Toa sank into the protodermis or what ever before the Bahrag twins were destroyed and then when they re-emerged the Bahrag were gone? So couldn't this mean that the Toa Nuva still need to get rid of the Bohrok and Bahrag twins before they can move on to the next bad guy in the story line? This would also explain the inclusion of the krana in the new mask packs and would give the new sets a longer life in the story line.

Anyway this has been bothering me since it seemed rather lame for Lego to bring out these new, rather expensive, sets and then get rid of them from the story line almost before they were actually available to all of us. I think it would make more sense if the Toa Nuva still needed the exo suits to fight the Bohrak as well as still needing to find and defeat the Bahrag twins prior to winning this victory.
