Bohrok are parasitic organisms that control you if their krana is up on your face. They could control the toa, tohunga, and turaga. But there is one question that some people wonder about....."could they control animals to" please reply any theories. The bohrok have leaders/strategist that guide them in their invasion on mata-nui. In the hives they have pods in which bohroks sleep in.The hives/swarms are all over mata-nui.There has been 1 theory that there are servant/slave bohrok that serve the leader of the swarm... but this theory maybe true...or not..The bohrok's main purpose.... is to enslave all of mata-nui's inhabitants. We don't know if bohrok could be banned from their hive until we know the rules of the hive.

This'll probably get moved to another forum... Krana or Technic Bionicle sets. I'm not sure which.
Either way... this is a cool idea, maybe this could get pinned as a base topic for everybody to post Bohrok/Krana relationships in.

nui jagga with krana on its claws? two krana would probably have to work together to control the simple yet powerful mind of an animal.

I believe that the Bohrok are not sentinent beings, but simply mechanical shells to house the Krana, the most primitive life form on Mata Nui. The Krana Then evolved into two branches, one evolved into the Matorans, and the other also divided into two branches. one never evolved into anything and stayed a Krana while the other branch evolved into the Bahrag.

Hi! I'm snow30. I'll join!!!!
Here's your theory guy right here!
Oh, and Muaka, your info is not yet proven, but it's a good possibility! My cousin thought the same thing!
Okay here's a summary of my theories of the Krana:
The Krana are used to activate machines called "Bohroks." Their goal is to reshape Mata Nui to their liking and take over. Each Krana has a power to deal with the landscape of Mata Nui as well as keep envaders away from their work. The Krana XA gives orders on how, where, and when to reshape a portion of land on Mata Nui. The Bahrag produce Krana as well as give commands to Krana XA.
Remember that these are theories not facts. Hope this helps.
And to anyone reading, PLEASE JOIN!!!! We need MORE RESEARCHERS!!!!!!!

: So your the one who figured out how the Krana work.

: That's right SMART GIRL!

I can answer that question on enslaved victims being brought back to the nest. The answer is CHEESEBURGER!!. Oops!!!!! Was ordering food. ANYWAY the answer is YES. Enslaved victims can be brought back to the nest. Exactly where in the nest is depended on how the enslaved victim (such as Matoran, Turaga, Toa, Rahi, etc.) can work toward the Krana's plans. Hope this helps.

: Searching! Searching! Searching! Searching!

: Did you find any new facts on the Krana!

: NO! I couldn't find ANYTHING!

: Look again!

: Researching! Researching! Researching! Researching!

: STOP!!!!!!!! You sound like a machine!
Ironic, isn't it?

AH-HA!! A breakthrough!
Now, the "Kranohi" are part Kanohi, part Krana right?
So if the Bahrag ARE alive, sooner or later, the Toa Nuva will start doing bad things. If the Bahrag are dead, the Toa Nuva will have full control over themselves. This may take time though.

Lego has already told us there are no Kranohi though. They're called Kanohi Nuva. They have nothing really to do with Krana.

ill join...i love the bohrok. my theory on the swarm is that the krana are very intelligent beings. although we dont see it right away, they are simply waiting for the fall of the bahrag (whom they know are amazingly powerful and have no chance of destroying). but, im not quite sure what their supreme goal could be...conquering the island just seems to...90's. i dont know...ill have to think about that one...

I have a continuation for my original theory.
And the Bahrag were considered the leader of the Bohrok for they were at the time all-powerful, and evolved into two seperate branches. One evolved into the Bahrag Cahdok and Gahdok and the other branch evolved into the Great Spiders, but went nearly extinct, leaving only two spiders to remain.
Here is what the evolution line would look like:

LOL I think thats like saying who controls a queen ant. The bahrag ( in my opinion ) are the head of everything krana related. No I dont think makuta or Mata nui controls the bahrag.

I guess that's that, you research anything related to the Bohrok.
Sure, I'll join, but I don't know how many little-known facts I could gather. I have theories though.
In the before time, the Bahrag and Krana inhabited Mata Nui. Once Makuta took control and villages and such were developed, the Bahrag and the Krana were eventually forced underground. While in hiding, the Bahrag created the Bohrok to house the Krana for defense perpouses and plotted their revenge. And so, when the time drew near, the Bahrag had finished an army of Bohrok and stored them in their cocoons.
Once the Krana and their Bohrok had awankened, they embarked on their mission to destroy all developed areas of Mata Nui and restore it to as it was in the before time, and at the same time, remove ALL obstacles.

this is true. the bahrag are animals. they will do what they have to do to fulfill their instincts. a lion kills a gazelle, to the lions it is merely living...to the gazelles, it is an evil monster. i think the bahrag are only considered evil because we take the side of the toa, and to the toa the bahrag are evil monsters.
