Out Of Cave Matoran
Origin Of The Matoran

Ever wonder where the Matoran came from? well this topic
will deal with how the sapiens of mata-nui came to being,
and how they made there journey out of ''cave matoran'' and
took the first steps to becoming the civilizations they are now.
Using official facts i will peice together this mystery.

How do i know that the Matoran used to live in such a decolate
place, from an promotional cd-rom i came across while talking
to a good freind, this cd is no longer available so don't atempt
to e-mail lego (kanohi-power also got this cd), back to the point,
it had an audio intro saying "the tohunga once were cave dwellers,
lived in mata-nui's darkest caves and tunnels" (or something along
those lines). There was also an eveloutionary line, but that was
faulty and had the bohrok evolving from krana, and being distantly
related to the toa. however we cannot dissmis that the Matoran
evolved from the Krana, but the krana also evolved into somthing
else (in my opinion). So here goes, here's my theory:

Once there were only krana (i have no idea how they moved), the
krana evolved three ways:
. they evolved into humanoids.
. they also evolved into one mystery being.
. and some just stayed as krana.

The Humanoids or ''SAPIENS''
They evolved in caves, first into turaga forms, then into matoran forms.
one set of six remained as turaga forms, they lived for hundreds of years,
but then mata-nui came .  Mata-nui led the matoran and their turaga (or
should it be turaga and their matoran?) out of "cave matoran" and saw the
other beings as a threat and entombed them in the cave (s?), thus leaving
the matoran to split into six tribes.

The Mystery beings.
These evolved into the three beings, the last being the spider on the cd,
then into those things we saw in the protodermis, who mata-nui thought
was a threat, as they had elemental powers (did they?). And he entombed
them in protodermis. They once had a society though (not proven). They
then made a pact with the Makuta and becoming his third wave of attacks,
also being a ''failsafe'' option.

The Krana.
These started out as two kinds then split into eight, proving to be a worthy
foe of the toa and also the key to the exo-toa suits, and mabye the entrance
to the actual bahrag chamber. These were Makuta's second wave, makuta
then made the bahrag to build bohrok Va's who built the bohrok, to transport
the krana, they also kept talking about the before time (the bahrag is what
i mean) and were trying to turn the island into the way it was when those
protodermis creatures ruled. This was probably part of the deal makuta made
with the protodermis creatures. I got this from the idea of mata-nui crumbeling
into the ocean in the new film the mask of light, mabye mata-nui is crumbeling
into the ocean and turning into a group of island instead of just one.

UPDATE
The location of cave matoran (most likely) is near kini-nui, because the
protodermis creatures emerged from there, and it is the
majour temple of mata-nui.

That is all i have to say for now, feel free to object and post your own theorys.

oh my gosh
I have found out from shadow cat that one of the bahrag says
"you dare to appose your brothers" weird eh.

OH my gosh!!!!!!!
there may be another entity, just go to the topic called, i may
have new enemy pics!

Timothy B. Beaver
wow i would have thouht of that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rama~Swarm
i actualy posted a very similar theory a long time ago.and i guess thaty tells you that i must like this idea.
Deki The Prankster
that`s not a bad theory. i think that this might be true. if it is, then the 3rd thing might be "the darkness that is to come".....
kolimaster9,000
Very good theory T.O.T I bet a lot of that is deffinnitely true!!!!!!!
Yuna~Hibiscus
thanks you guys, it did take me a long time
to come up with. and half of that was confirmed with
emails to lego. (about 10!;)

tuna toa
I lust love this theory!  The part about the protodermis creatures teaming up with Makuta really ties up some loose ends!
Yuna~Hibiscus
thanks tuna toa you and the rest are the poeple that
make this worth doing.
Ëran
You know that actully waht a frind of mine and I came up with a few weeks ago and to learn the lego said yes to some of it make me feel better nice resarch toa of takua   :akakunu:
Yuna~Hibiscus
i have updated it now.
The Green Rabbit
It makes sense to me.  How else would the Turaga know about the Krana and Bohrok but not know if they were real?  It was because they were made by the Krana, but they didn't know how the other krana evolved.  Good theiory!
¨The Vahki¨
Can you post pics?
Salus*
What would he post pics of? :sarcastic:

Anyhoo, this is a brilliant hypothesis(but it's evolution, 1 e ;) ) and I think you've got everything down pat. Good job.
Kopaka Va Bo
Gah, darn, you beat me to it. :nervous:

I had this almost exact theory.

Good job, son. :)
Yuna~Hibiscus
oh my gosh
it's updated
Lews Therin
That makes sense, and I bet most of it true. Good theory.
Yuna~Hibiscus
thanks and welcom to bzpower!
Pepe
Very believable.
Yuna~Hibiscus
thanks and..........
oh my gosh it's updated!
Morgan Katarn
Good theory, a bit complicated to say the least. This is a very good theory and raises very good questions, you have obviously spent a lot of time thinking that up. This raises the question of the awakening of Mata-Nui, wasn't he supposed to wake up and rise again?!!

Yuna~Hibiscus
thanks, and it took me three days, to get the info.
lumkins
well if you think about it there is another way vakama new so much he visited the pit of the borok  :akakunu:
