Interesting. Several Bionicle words are Polynesian. I know, I live in Hawaii. Kaukau means food which has no relation what-so-ever in the Kanohi Kaukau. Kau Kau Staff maybe, but not Kanohi Kaukau. I also heard that there is an island called Mangaia. Akamai does NOT mean 'valor' in Hawaiian. It means 'wisdom'. Which is strange since Wairuha is the Toa Kaita of Wisdom.
