ok. this is interesting, i wanted a takua avatar, so i did a search for takua. what i got was takua,  thailand.
another example: mata and nui, mean big island, i think.

it's kind of like harry potter, huh? how they used little known words to make stuff?

so, i was wunnerin, what do you think some of the words mean? or if you know, that'd be cool too

Interesting. Several Bionicle words are Polynesian. I know, I live in Hawaii. :satisfied: Kaukau means food which has no relation what-so-ever in the Kanohi Kaukau. Kau Kau Staff maybe, but not Kanohi Kaukau. I also heard that there is an island called Mangaia. Akamai does NOT mean 'valor' in Hawaiian. It means 'wisdom'. Which is strange since Wairuha is the Toa Kaita of Wisdom.
