It would be cool if the toa nuva could fuse with the deactivated bohrok to become the Tohrok but they couldn't stay that way for long.

It's a great idea, I've been trying to build an MOC like that, but the DBZ people would probably sue Lego if they make it an official part of the story-line. Fu...sion...HA!!!

Hmm...  The question that pops into my mind is "why?"  Why would the Toa want to merge with the falled shells of their enemies?  How would it help them?  They're already quite strong as the Nuva.  What else could Bohrok provide?

It seems more like an MOC idea to me.

I've built a toa nui, just take all armor and stuff, including legs/arms off the toa kaita, stick the torsos togther with no. 3, gets some spare hip joints plug em together and you have arms, then in one set of legs add #6 instead of #5 do the same for the other set, take the supertoes out of akamais feet and put them in the middle, between Akamai and Wairuha. add the legs, voila! One TOA NUI!!!! Good idea about fusion though.

That would be a cool idea for an MOC, but if LEGO did it it would be kind of silly. The bohrok claws are short range weapons. (You have to be touching them or you have to be close for it to work)

Okay.  Let's just think about this.  If a toa nuva can fuse with a bohrok, even for a limited amount of time, that toa's gonna get power hungry.  So pretty soon he's suckin up more 'n more bohrok until he's more bohrok than toa nuva.  Ya see the logistical problems?
It would be fascinating though.  Imagine, the good guys and their fallen enemies joining together.  That's awfully heroic.  I could definitely invision a toa nuva with those bohrok eyes...
