the toa nuva look evil in that pic so i thinkthe shadow toa will return as nuva to help makuta and the bahrag nuva

but i think by "The end of the toa" the mean that the Toa morph into NUVA                        
I agree the Toa do look kinda weird in the Comics

I can tell you that there aren't any plans to bring the shadow Toa back anytime soon. Mainly because Makuta already tried that approach to defeating the Toa, and it didn't work -- he is going to need more powerful servants than the shadow Toa or the Rahi if he is going to win out...
