Well i though about this, there are now nuva kaita, and makuta is comming back, so does this mean that the toa must transform once again, and could this be related to the first sign of the manas combonation thingy, parhaps this is what the nuva have to face before they fight the new makuta, also this could mean many other things, but i wanna see what you have to say.

i dont think the manas, or any rahi from years past come back,  If you read the interview thing with Greg, he says that the new enemies are way bigger and better than the enemies from, the past...  

Also remember that the toa cant be in kaita form while they are battling makuta for he is the god of destruction.

they proly just have to go to kaita form to fight the new enemy.

ahh, but the mana co is not an old rahi, well  not that we know, its never even been seen in the storyline, i think all weve seen is a bio on them.

did you play MNOLG? if you did you would have seen the manas... the kaita fight them while the matoran fight off the other rahi... remember?  
Just because there is not a bio doesnt meant that they will come back...

well you realy should look at my post, i did not say the manas, i said the mana ko aka the manas combiner.

I still think they should make new rahi for this chapter.I need new badguys for the nuva to fight.

It will probanly be the same as in the beginning
The Toa had to combine to defeat the Manas
Now it will be the Toa Kaita Nuva that has t defeat Mana-Ko

Actually, on the contrary I think that would own!

The Rahi were awesome! And just think....the combined forms are better right? ( except for the Tarakava combined) So I think it would be an awesome addition to the storyline.

Think about this people... how would they release the rahi combiners?  they would have to release the same sets as last year...  

LEGO said that they were releasing new sets this year, so its nearly impossible to have the rahi combiners be the new enemies for the new chapter...  

I've been wondering myself how the Kaita Nuva fit into all of this.  Possibly it's just another "combiner" and dosen't have much significance.  On the other hand...

well how about this maybe the toa of light is a combined toa  

I hope the rahi come back so that the Toa Nuva kaita can fight them I want to see them in action.

I doubt the toa of light is a nuva kaita...  I am with kaiapu on thinking its just another combiner...

I think It'll be the same story as with the bokrok kaita. You build them and say "This is so cool! I want to see it in the storyline!". So you wait and wait and the Nuva are out and you still havent seen them in the storyline.
 Whats the point of all of this, the same will probably happen with the Nuva.

precisely! The Idea of a combiner or alternate model is just lego trying to make their product seem better (i.e. 2 for the price of one) but as we've seen so far, not all of them make it into the story. The Exo-Toa alternate has absolutely no place in the story, but they throw it in just because of this. Now the original Toa Kaita were put into the story and so were some of the rahi combiners (in the mnolg onua fights infected lewa and the nui-rama combiner for example) and that was probably lego's original intention, getting all the models in. However, as the story progressed they probably had trouble finding a place for the extra models (especially since the new model can only be created with limited pieces) and unfortunately the toa nuva combiners will probably share this fate.

In addition, in the story the toa after seperating to fight makuta decided they didn't need the kaita, that it just put a physical form to their unity and they no longer needed it. Unless they forgot all this when the became toa nuva i doubt they will need to form a kaita anyway, but i bet they always have the power anyway.

makuta is not coming back until the toa of light movie and second the toa of light could be like two of the nuva combined man nobody listens to me
