i think the if a matoran wore it they wold be granted power in the form of a toa. if a toa wore it i don't even know! let meknow what you think.

I think so since Takua will wear it and become the Toa Nuva of Light. But then again, it's just a rumor so I could be wrong.

THINK ABOUT IT. LIGHT. YOU ARE ALL SAYING IT HAS THE POWER TO DEFEAT EVIL. THAT SOUNDS MORE LIKE THE COPPER MASK OF VICTORY. IT MAY HAVE SOME SORT OF "VICTORY" POWER, BUT MUST ALSO HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH LIGHT, OTHERWISE IT WOULDN'T BE CALLED THE MASK OF LIGHT.

I'm telling the truth about this. Me and my neibor were bored with this game we played where we had special abbilities and we split the different masks up and we got a little bored with just six different masks we could use so we disided to make new ones. one of the ones i made up was a mask called the mask of light and the power is to controll the amount of light in the area that you were in and it could also switch day into night and vise versa. but the mask i made up looked alot different. It looked somewhat like a lightbulb. no lieing and i have a picture on my computer but i will have to put it in my brickshelf first so you can see it. i'll do that now.

won't wear the Mask of Light. Takua is supposed to wear it and become Takanuva, the Toa of Light.

The plot of the movie is that Makuta is defeated by the power of the MoL. Think of Star Wars for a second here..

Dark Side of the Force = Evil

Bright Side of the Force = Good

Dark Power of Makuta = Evil

Mask of Light = Good

The MoL gives of the power of light to destroy the dark powers of Makuta.

And that's my 2 cents

Well it might defeat Makuta, but I don't think it will wake up Mata Nui, once that happens, good wins and evil is gone forever, this means that Bioncle is over and Lego would definately not want that, besides, the sequal is coming out a year after so the obviously are still having trouble with evil, I mean, they wouldn't want to make a movie about all the Toa sitting on the beach drinking root-beer for 90 min. now would they?....

well they ciod make a siop opra!(not that they will of corse)i think the mask of light will just make takua all shiny for a bit and kills makuta and then they all live hapley ever after. untill some new bad guy comes and they will have to fight him(or her )to!

I think takua will put on the Mask of light and it will either spread light across mata-nui killing the baddies or make takua a super strong toa for awhile so he can beat up the enimies as said before.

I think its power is to repel any evil in a radius around you. However, if it is something that is really strong, like Makuta or Manas, the power is weakened.

I would say that the masks attack power is the ability to focus light like a sonar aray into a blast of energ capable of amazing power. I also believe that it has the power to give the user the abiltiies of Mata-nui and unite the island against the evil darkness

Off topic: How would Takua become a Toa NUVA if he doesnt immerse himself in protodermis for the exact length of time the Toa did?

Even more off-topic: In Star Wars, how does above-lightspeed travel happen and the people don't live forever?

On topic: I like the day/night theory. I think the Mask of Light will give the wearer the power to become a more powerful being. ( Takua becomes Takauva)
