I recently noticed that the legend of Bionicle is distinctly related to the Bible. Let me explain.



In the Before Time, there was nothing but Mata Nui, or God

Mata Nui wanted to create things, so created the Universe, like God.

He made the island of Mata Nui, like God created Earth.

He put Matoran on the island and they worshipped him, like God created Adam and Eve and they worshipped him.

Makuta made Mata Nui fall into an endless sleep, just like Satan made the people of Earth worship another being, making Mata Nui and God dead to them.

God was displeased so he destroyed all the evil in a flooding of the earth, leaving only the good people to be spared. Just like Mata Nui sent down the Toa to defeat Makuta.

For a while, things were good again, but Satan started to terrorize the Earth again, like the Bohrok.

The Toa, or Jesus, went to stop Satan and all evil, like the Toa went to defeat the Bahrag

Jesus ultimately sacrificed himself to stop all evil but came back, like the old Toa died in the Protodermis and came back as the Toa Nuva, ready to save the island, and Earth, of all evil.

acctualy matanui didnot create matanui, matanui was already there and so were the animals, but he did create the matoran. other than that it is about right.

Actually Litu he didn't creat them They were already there in freedom and he came....Really if you think about it Makuta was Mata-nuis fault.

lets just say that im praying that you dont get in trouble with the mods on this one. now for reply comments,

the flood was sent to punish the sinning populations of the earth, as the creator was angry with them,
mata nui didnt send the toa to punish the matoran since he was displeased with them. perhaps if the story went that god sent down 6 angels of heaven to fight the devil and destroy his minions, then i could se the simmilarity.

jesus was trying to spread the word of god, while the toa are just trying to kick some bad guy butt and they really have no clue as to what mata nui is about.

the creator and the devil aren't brothers, one was created by the other.

i really dont think it is fair to compare this to the bible,  you could technically compare the bionicle story to almost any religion. well at least any that has its creation stories and a diety or two along with some kind of hero and people for the story to be about. funny, thats the majority of religions right there.

I agree with you on some terms, but this is a iffy issue and your skating on thin ice. some people are going to be offended by this so I don't rely think this topic is appropriate, It will probably be closed.

atraelthefallen is right the bit you said (apart from quote 'He made the island of Mata Nui') that is only a small bit of the Bible there are still the other 3000 pages (sumthin like that) which are nouthin like Bionicle.  

Okay, so I skipped a couple thousand pages.

I looked at the title and was ready to report the guts outta me.
But you bring up some good points.It's kinda coincidental, because it's how alotta people start these types of storylines.

Yes, I found this offencive.
This topic offended me even before I read it.
Comparing Mata Nui to God is not something I enjoyed reading.
While I am greatful that you are trying to spread the Word of God around BZP, I don't think comparing it to Bionicle is appropriate.
I think if anyone wants to spread the Word, it should be done by creating a topic where we can talk about it.

Now, I'm a Christian and I'm glad that you are avangelizing in a way but you know some people here are not and I'm praying for them, if it was me I wouldn't close this.

And he was just comparing the happenings of the Bible and Bionicle, but still...I need to put my Bible verse back in my sig.
