Full Version: Island Of Mata Nui Purpose

This theory doesn't really have any evidence. Mata Nui's already... kinda appeared when it was cleaned by the Bohrok.

And according to BS01, Mata Nui wants to see the island barren when he awakes. I don't think he'd like seeing it barren with a war taking place on it. :\
Borrakar- Lord of Pain
If it is in this year's story, then it will only be minor, I think. The island isn't important to the current storyline, as far as I know.

I don't think so. Mata Nui expect nothing less than the island barren. Practically, it's like you wake up from a coma and your face is normal, not lots of plants growing on it.

IF Planetperson's theory is correct. wink.gif

Why would the inhabitants of the domed universe have there war on Mata Nui? It's impractical for both sides and I don't really see any motivation for them to do that...
Toongie
Why would you want to have a war on Mata Nui in the first place? There's nothing on it anyway.

Unless you're saying that a Makuta went up there and the Order would have to eliminate him or something like that.

I do think you should get some more proof *testing Bones tongue.gif*. It is possible for them to reach the island for both sides, due to Destral's teleportation ability, the Makuta's natural power for transportation, along with the several methods the OoMN has, such as Botar's species and possibly other that we don't known too much about.

I personally don't really see any point in wasting time and energy in a place you have no business being on.

I think if mata nui wants it barren he will find a way to keep i barren. tongue.gif

Um, couldn't the plants just regrow? I mean that's how they got there to begin with. He only wants it barren when he gets there, maybe he wants it plant-covered after he wakes up.

Haha, "Hey guys, time out. Let's run up the tunnels to Mata Nui and we can start fighting again there". tongue.gif

@Solo: The plants grew there from an EP leak. I'm pretty sure the flow of EP ceased, and the Bohrok pretty much incinerated everything there, so there wasn't really anything to grow back.

Well haven't you seen the teaser pic on bionicle.com and the story section titled "Mata Nui" - it is the section that comes after "the storm" so obviously the island gets important after the reawakening of the Great Spirit and now guess what that could mean if you follow certain theories in S&T...
