~Hihkan
a theory based on theories is not very well
TPN
Hi everyone. Ive just realised that I forgot to include the evidence I based this topic on in my original post. Im very sorry for this error. however I am currently re-gathering my evidence and will edit the original post as soon as humanly possible. Just telling you this to let you know that I did base this on bionicle facts and my own inginuity, not simply the latter.

EDIT: done!

Destined Matoran’s bodies are capable of channelling toa power directly to their inner membranes. Something which other Matoran can’t do.

What if a Matoran hasn't always been destined to be a Toa?

QUOTE
The second portion of this power is then converted into elemental energy and used to fill the space in the enlarged elemental energy membrane.

No need, elemental energy generates naturally. smile.gif

Anyway, other than that first thing I mentioned, I suppose that this is pretty possible, though I do prefer some of the other theories out there about this. However, I suppose that they're all just different interpretations of the same thing in the end. tongue.gif

I thought every being had their destiny set as they were created? and on your second point, I said that so a new toa would have a full reserve immeadiately as Elemental Energy takes time to recharge.

Yes, so there is no need for a Toa to have a EE 'organ' like you (apparently) say. It would just build up and be released.

When did I ever say "Organ". I said MEMBRANE. There is a difference. And they need it as a place for the energy to be kept. If it wasnt in anything it would just escape their body and they would be powerless. Even with the recharge it would instantly escape their body if it was not kept inside something. Its like electricity. if it isnt kept inside a storage facility it would escape into the environment. Same principle.

i don't see anything wrong with this theory, does not contradict the storyline. Most of you that are saying its wrong forget one thing, the membrane does not have to me physical.

Thank you, my first reply with no negatives! laugh.gif

Seems to make sense, and reminds me alot of another theoretical guide on the difference between Matoran, Toa, and Turaga's "membranes" that allow them to use (and not use) mask powers.

The part about the toa energy seperating and turning into other things doesn't seem to fit, and that Toa energy is made to be used to fufill their destiny, not power them up, seeing how Toa Energy cannot be regenerated.

Keep up the good work.

EDIT: 600th post.

The toa power that is seperated is the power that was originaly invested in the Toa Stone, so it is that that is used to do other things, not the Toa's own Toa energy. That is not used in the transformation.

A good theory, but...

Vakama and co weren't destined to become Toa, it was Ahkmou, Nuhrii and the others who were (see Bionicle Legends#8, Challenge of the Hordika) - however Vakama's group still became Toa. That goes against your idea of Toa Stones only affecting destined Matoran.

Were Vakama and his friend's meant to be toa Metru, I think not.

That disproves part of your theory.
Legend of Lesovikk
As it turns out Mata Nui changed the stars to tricked Teridax into picking the right Matoran to be Toa. Keep up to date. All you need to know is on the BS01 wiki.

What I don't get is what does a Matoran do if there is no suva? How then does he/she become a Toa?

Actually, the Toa Metru's former selves were meant to be Toa. It was part of their destiny and it was Teridax's destiny to fool Lhikan.

It's a well developed idea; however, still a conjecture. You have created an idea that makes sense and fits into the Bionicle storyline, but you have not evidence to support it save for the fact that it fits. It's simply an inference, and although it makes sense, it cannot be proven.
