one more thing to think about is at the end, Vakama thanks him and congratulates him for all his adventorous traits but he says something about finding Vakama's mask and staff. What do you think this is a reference to? hmmmmmm...

edit: where did you get that takua was kicked out of his village?

I was thinking that Takua may have come down with Tahu, but that's impossible, since he was around on Mata Nui before the Toa were. Here's my (short)theory:

Takua got thrown out of the village(we all know that part) and decided to have a little stroll up and down the beach. There, he saw the stone head and fainted. Tahu came in the canister and woke him up, then made his way to Ta-Wahi.

maybe he put on a infected mask and the when he woke up he was on the beach, in front of the canister. Maybe Tahu knocked it off of him when he landed, yeah then he didn't remember a thing before that!!!!!!!! good theorie?

i think takua is really interesting.  he was originally a ta-koro native, but then, i think he got all adventurous and wanted to travel and even donned a new mask that wasnt of ta-koro.  probably why he got in trouble with the villagers.  i think the MNOLG starts right as takua comes back to ta-koro after hearing of the arrival of the toa.

I herd that the GBA Bionicle game(the first one) was suppost to be before the MNOLG but I haven't finished the GBA game so I don't know.

Wait at the end of the MNOLG Vakama says Takua found his STAFF and his mask.If I remember right in the GBA game you find Vakama's STAFF.Now do you see a small conection?    

I was just wondering about the MNOLG and a question popped into my head, where did takua come from and why does the MNOLG start at the exit to Makuta's lair? Maybe that's a clue for the search of where he came from or maybe it was the conclusion of a previous adventure, I only think that because at the end of the game you are a that same spot but you see Vakama instead of Maku at the beginning of the game. (just something to think about! and maybe post about)

i think takua is the hero with the toa

Okay, here's the goods.

Takua was on Mata Nui before the Toa.  He went on a quest (the GBA game) to find the Toa Stones, which summon the Toa.  He finds the staves and masks of the Turaga, and when his adventure is done, he returns to Ta-Wahi (note: this is where the GBA game ends, in Ta Wahi!!!  and that's where the MNOLG starts), and now travels the island helping the Toa in their quest.  That explains it.
