Alright here it is there is no solid proof to what I am going to say but i put together the peices. First  the comic #9 is called divided we fall so here what I believe the toa become toa nuva then it says "will the power of the toa nuva save matanui... or shater it forever?" so I believe the toa are going to get all uptight and say well I can do this all by myself and they will get all mad at each other and be vulnerable when the bohrak kal come and no one knows why the kal will come but I say they will come to destroy the toa while they are vulnerable because they are like personal assasins six of them snd six toa then the kal disappear and make way for the movie which is about the new hero being chosen . That's it like I said there is no solid evidence but the facts to date seem to lead to it and I just put the pieces together what do you think? Post your opiniuns.

Good theory, but I think that the Kal actually cause the Nuva to separate.

Very good point Jedi!But I was thinking that they would spilt up because well,Their power!Maybe they WANT to split up because if they stay together,They might cause the island to crumble into the sea!Just a thought though.....

Well like I said it's just my theory there's no real proof until comic 9 comes out.

We'll find out soon enough.  But good theory anyway, and I do like the dramatics of the Toa getting split apart by a dispute...as long as they get back together again.

I've got comic nine. They split up because their alliance is no longer needed and they decide to go back to their villages to help with repairs.

yeah, just in case you dont have 9 yet..... they were all powerful enough now as nuva that they felt they were strong enough to take on any new problem alone. also in comic 9, the kal are finally seen planning the theft of the toa's elemental power. perhaps by the "save mata nui....or shatter it..." quote they are referring to the toa energies being stolen by the kal to later be used for some nefarious scheme. its technically still the toa's powers, they just aren't the ones in posession of them.

Well there is deffiently the fact that they are now strong enough to take on most problems by themselves, and the island is in disrepair, but looking at the cover of comic nine, you can bet that there is going to more emphisis on the internal conflict between Kopaka and Tahu.
