Heres a question that may have been resolved already, but which I think would be cool to discuss.
-Do the Toa's elemental powers (magic) come from:
-Themselves? A built in capacity, like psionics in D&D.
-Mata Nui or one of his underlings, like clerical magic?
-A sort of 'weave' or energy field that the Toa can manipulate, like wizardly magic?
(my preference is number 3.)
What do you think? I encourage intelligent discussion.

I go with 1., the magic is inside themselves. Because like Kopaka said in the first comic.

Good theory, though.

It is linked to them- they as well as being physical beings are spirits, Tahu is the spirit of fire etc.

I would pick option #1 as well... the Toa's elemental powers are an integral part of who they are. It's not something given to them by someone else or something else (the way the mask powers come from the mask), or some external force they can manipulate. It is a natural ability that they have by virtue of being Toa.
