At this point it is still technically a rumor.
However, the rumor has been going for a while, and there hasn't been any new info anywhere to turn it down.
I hope there is a new Toa. I'd love to see how LEGO adds him to team.
(This topic should be in SL/T though)

<I say there is a 75 percent chance Takua will become a toa. I say there is a 25 percent chance they will make him into a toy if he does become a toa. I wonder if the will come out with Special movie toys?>

No,no. I don't think so. It would be kinda weird and I would not get used to it. Why don't Lego release Matoran for sale?

No, he's not going to be an actual Toa, he's going to be a fake Toa.

The set will be made or else we'll riot!

IMHO:
Takua is a Matoran, not a Toa. The Toa are not former Matoran who got new bodies and powers, but completely separate spirits.
A seventh Toa may appear in the Miramax film, but not in Mask of Light. I seem to recall GregF saying that a seventh one might appear later, like 2004+.

I'm not sure about Takua Toa becoming an action figure..... but I've always believed that Takua is going to become a Toa ever since the article first came out on M.O.D. Even if they do make an action figure (heaven forbid), I most definitely would not buy it.

Well,I don't think they will make him to an official Toa(Nuva),but I'd think he'd be a half-Toa(certainly not as powerful as one but more powerful as a Matoran),as the mask of Light(I think only) has enough power to elevate a being. And since Takua is the chosen one to wear it,he will have the power of light and make himinto a half-Toa.Ideas anyone?

Geez this topic has been around so many times. It has been stated many times that Takua will not be a toa at any point. Perhaps LEGO is just saying this, you never know. LEGO has also told people there will be Matoran sets. GregF did mention something about a 7th toa, but it is not scheduled any time soon.

Yes, that would be good to see. As it stands, the cast of characters is a little too gender-unbalanced [made-up word].

Hmm... I think it's possible that Takua gains some powers from wearing the Photo-Kanohi. But he won't be a Toa, just a Matoran with the Mask of Light on his face.
