In the new updates at bionicle.com, how did onewa and his people get to ga-koro from po-koro if the Tahnok were outside po-koro? It never said po-koro was right next to the ocean, they were in the middle of the desert. And what happened to pohato? He was with them!

At the end of the movie when Pohatu rescued Hafu you saw the Tahnok leaving. Pohatu has to collect krana and the Po-Koroan probably just made it to the dock.

Dhik is right, all the Po-Koronans, ran for the dock and sailed to Ga-Koro...

It looked to me that the tahnok are just circling them or something.

Yeah, I don't think the Bohrok would just give up like that... but good thing they did, or else we wouldn't see that hilarious love scene with Huki and Maku.

Pohatu probably smashed some Tahnok steal their krana and distract the whole swarm for enough time for the Matorans to reach the dock and sail to Ga-Koro.

Not EVERY Po-Koronan...

Anyway, they went by 3 100% sinkproof boats.

In comic 2 you see Pohatu and Gali defeating the Tahnok- lowering their numbers enough to allow the Po-Korians to flee. Also there is a gap on the sea facing side of Ga-Koro in the wall so the Po-Korians could have sailed through- one thing I would like to know is- how did they get the boats?

My guess: After Hafu slowed down the Tahnok by toppling the statues, the Po-Koronans used this delay to hide in the cliffs. The Tahnok smashed through the statues, destroyed the village, and moved on. But having no shelter, and fearing the return of the Tahnok, the Po-Koronans ran down the path to the beach (where Takua sailed to and from in the MNOLG). Good question about the boats, though, where would they find five boats in a hurry? Maybe they built them in Po-Koro before they left, and dragged them to the beach. They couldn't go to Onu-Koro, because it had been flooded. So the next closest village was Ga-Koro. (Or maybe Huki persuaded Onewa to go there!)

Pohatu had gone with the other Toa to find the Bohrok nest. Remember in the Le-Koro update, Takua tells Tamaru and Kongu that the Toa have all gone to find it.
