Is lego going to make an aqua boxor? In his interview, Nuparu (yes i finally spelled his named right) talked about equipting his boxor with stuff that would make it float. But obviously, he would need to make a quick change in the shape. So, do you think that bionicle will make an aqua boxor, and what kind of matoran will it come with? Another Nuparu, or a different matoran. Personally, i think that it might come with a Ga-Koronan.

If that's the case, then their gonna make a Snow Boxor, due to the soft snow. In other words, No.

I believe they will either make some add-ons for the boxor to change its type from walking to water and so on. They may just come out with a brand new one altogether though. Who knows. Maybe nothing will be done with the boxor line. We'll just have to wait and see . . .

What would be the point? It would be a bit expensive. However, I think what they could do is release an add-on set which includes the hollow seeds, with instructions to attatch them to the Boxor and also to build a boat design. One of the two could be an alternate. Or, if Nuparu has more ideas, simply a Boxor Add-on set.

EDIT- I didn't see the above post. It took me more than the 12 minute difference as I was eating while I made the post and had to continue afterwards.

Well it would make sense to adapt the Boxor.

I mean after what happened in the Ga-Koro movie...it obvious that the Boxor's have that disadvantage.

I like the idea of Boxor add-ons...kinda would make the Boxor more battleready if you only needed to slap on an adaptor for certain conditions. (Instead of having to call up the proper Boxor)

Yeah! Boxor add ons! Very sweet. I think LEGO needs that! It would be neet if they made seed that actually would allow the Boxor to float on water! And some other thing like those Backbacks and a REAL WORKING TRACKING MISSILE!

The Bohrok Saga is over, we know about the Kal now.Lego isn't going to release a new set to fight an old set.

if they do make an aqua boxor or whatever, i saw in the lego movie there was a matoran with a purple miru thats what i'm hoping for

even if lego did make other boxer versions(unlikly) they wouldn't make add ons theyed do all new sets trust me

I think it could happen, i mean, look at purpledave's biocycles. he made them all the same except the ga-koronan cycles. maybe someone could MOC it.

The Boxor aren't just to fight the Bohrok. I think they could be used in various security duties. The Rahi are probably still dangerous, and a Boxor could probably handle wild Nui-jaga or two....They could still be useful. They might be faster than foot travel, for messenger work.

Well if they do I think they should make a lava, snow, air, and stone one then. The origanal boxer was the onu-koreon and the water would be ga-koreon. Then all the tohunga could fight anywhere.

I don't think that Lego will make aqua-boxers, considering that they've begun with the post-bohrok sets. I might make one though. I've already made one that has arms suitable for mining AND defense. (Please don't ask me to tell you how, I might post pics in the distant future.)

legos don't float, and they won't make this add on, I mean it is an accessory, and anotherthing, how would they make a flying boxor, I mean that would look strange, and uneeded.

I don't think that they will have another boxor. They will probably just show a boxor with a few empty shell things on it and not have anything in stores.

I highly doubt it. They typically like to have more variety to their mid-to-high cost sets. While we can see a lot of under-$10 sets that look similar to each other, once you get above the $10 mark, about all you'll see in the near-twin category are sets like the Rahi and Bahrag, where the two similar models are packed together.

If they did one, it would be most appropriate to pack another Onu-Koronan (especially a purple one) with it, since they're the ones who use them. However, they would probably put a Ga-Koronan in it. Most likely Hahli.

While LEGO does release accessory sets, they are usually either designed for one of the $100+ sets, or they are not associated with any one specific set. That pretty much rules on the possibility of seeing a Boxor accessory set unless it was designed to work with multiple other sets.

You would probably not think so if you really understood how much it would take to allow the Boxor to actually float and still be able to attack something that was not standing on the floatation rig.

They make them all the time, though certain themes get a lot more of them than others. Mindstorms is nearly all addon sets, as is Train. Star Wars is one of the largest lines out there, but the closest they've come to making addon sets so far were the four mini-fig 3-packs. Well, unless you count the Celebration Duplo brick...

Some do, but most don't. The basic bricks don't, but the more flexible plastic does. If you've got a Vahi, it will float, but the regular 72-set masks won't (assuming you knock all of the air-bubbles loose). All of the Toa weapons will float as well. The Bohrok hand-shields and teeth will too. I've never tried the silvery Nui-Rama wing-pieces, or any of the rubber parts (tires, treads, Krana...) but I suspect they won't float either. I also haven't tried the transparent plastic, but it feels a tiny bit heavier than the regular stuff. I have no idea if the gold/silver masks will or not, but I suspect they will.

The Boxor alternate model actually looks less stable than the original design. Certainly not the sort of thing you'd want to turn into a water-borne vehicle.

Sure it doesn't look like a stable set...but like the Toa Kaita...what doesn't work well in sets looks great in the Flash.

I think that the alternet model is for snow!!
Heres my reasons...
1. Very tall, for the deep snow
2. In addition to the tallness, the karate chop action to hit the head-sheild of the bohrok, and not trying to punch in midair while its target is below the arms.
3. Visor, doubles for a snow eye protector, and a krana reflector.

Even though that is a cool idea it probably wont happen. Perhaps in the story line, but I doubt even add-ons will be made for the Boxor. After all, they are made from a defeated enemy. The Bohrok Saga is over, and unless they start to make a Boxor Kal, then there's no point.

It's very unlikely that lego will make an accesory set for the boxor it's not their sort of thing but maybe they might make an instructions for another alternate model on the website.

I don't think it will come out. If LEGO kept on making "improved" versions of things, (E.G. Toa Nuva, Borhok Kal, etc.) people will get tired of it.

I'd say put your imaginations to work and make an MOC Aqua Boxor!

I think it's a great theory and all but I doubt they would make one. Even if they did it would be a very long time before it came out.

well, he is my theory o the "aqua Boxor" in on of the ga-koro movies, he says his boxors weren't built for water, but if he did two things to it, it might float, the two things were:
1.attach some kind of seed to it
2.and a propeller gear system
but the seed, he is the next part, look at the secondary boxor set, the feet seem to be shaped to hold something, the seeds perhaps? if thgat is the case, then the aqua boxor is actually ther boxor's alternate model, and to back it up, the propeller gear system, the syatem that powers the arms aree gears that have a vague resemblence to propelllers

I think they will have to make due with what they have.

I doubt they would make them, but I think the snow boxor is an awsome idea!

I think the karate chopper boxor would be a lot cooler if you put tarakarva arms on it instead of the karate chopper arms. I can picture it now tahnok kal vs the modified tara-boxor. maybe someone should make one because my tarakarva was destroyed and I have the original boxor.

that one in the comic was sliding down the hill, like it was skiing on the rocks. I think the boxors are faster on downhill than they are on flat land. The feet look like they are sorta made for sliding downhill.

how about instructions on taking an existing boxor set and building a boat like version of it.

an idea for a magma boxor: when you need to lava surf put tahu nuva swords on the feet along with propellers to push through the lava. an idea for a rock/underground boxor: put onuas quake breakers on instead of hooks and put more on the feet. then U have the ultimate digging boxor. mwah ha ha ha ha!
