WE know it was in the chamber of the bahrag, but what ever was exposed to it is transformed. There must be a new foe out there or hero. Wouldn't the ground transform too?

The ground didn't change because the protodermis came from underground so it ain't the ground. It could be the Exos! I know it is! Or it may be a new enemy! It's whatever you believe it could be!

maybe mata nui created the protodermis. that is what i think.

I think Protodermis is just some normal Acid that is in the ground, its probably only effective on the Nuva because of their elemental power. Thats what I think...

I believe that is a real good theory. Think about it. Whenua said that protodermis is the stuff of life. Mata-Nui is the god of life. See the connection! This theory is actually quite probable...

I wouldn't say that it is his blood but maybe it has to do with Mata Nui. For everyone who has played the MNOLG the infected Koli bal has some green fluid crawling over it, that has something to do with Makuta so it could be the same with the Protodermis but the Protodermis has some thing to do with Mata Nui think about it.

I belive that the two enemies behind Tahu Nuva in that pic r either the exo nuva or bahrag nuva because the bahrag kind of look the same and were traped in a cage of protodermis or the exo because they were in the bahrag chamber as well as the toa and the protodermis is the mystery essicnets(sp) of life on Mata-Nui.

I think that Protodermis was the raw material mata nui used to create the island and all the things on it. Whenua said, in MNOLG, that solid protodermis was used to make new things. My theory is that Mata Nui kept protodermis in solid and liquid form so he could create more. Unfortanantly, when he was put asleep by Makuta, he couldn't create new things. It was left to the matoran in Onu-Koro to mine solid protodermis to make the things they needed. The liquid protodermis was not mined by the people in Onu-Koro, but it gave the Toa new masks, weapons, and armor.

Maybe on the infected koli ball in the mnolg is raw protodermis that when people touch it they become sick.
Solid Protodermis would make things feel like they have never felt before.

i say that it is the blood of the island and has its own conscois. Also we know thta the enemies of MOL are those little bumps in the protodermis and what better way to destroy a creature than to take out its blood and i say thta in MOL makuta will somehow collect all the protodermis and cause the island to begin to crumble into the sea.

Protodermis is like oil...Matoran mine it from the ground for power.

I think it might just be some paranormal substance that brings and upgrades life...Scary....
