In new game for GBA, there is also included manual... But there is one very useful thing. There it is :

All is not well on the island of Mata Nui. The Matoran islanders and the Turaga village elders all continue to battle the forces of Makuta, the evil spirit-brother of the island's namesake. Makuta cast a darkness over the island that once was a paradise. Now his minions, the Bohrok , swarm to the swamps, under water and over ground, high and low, destroying everything in their path.

But the Matoran keep their faith in Mata Nui and the Legends of The Bionicle™ . This ís what drives them as they attempt to liberate themselves from Makuta and his beasts.

Select your hero and defeat those whou would turn Mata Nui into nothingness at the whim of Makuta . Pick up companions along the way and use their various powers and abilities, along with your own, to rid the island of the Bohrok and super-powerful Rahi. Your adventures take you through lush jungle, desert expanses, ice fields, swamps and volcanic regions as you seek to restore joy and light to Mata Nui and let peace reign once more.

So, you see that Bohrok are minions of makuta. I am pretty sure that this isn't a dupe topic, 'Cause it will be at Hot Topics list, and I am on the BZPower almost everyday. This perfectly suits into my Epic The Great Beings. Now nobody will say that Bohrok are not minions of Makuta. Think - the Makuta and Bohrok nest is in the same area. I hope that all of us will see this topic, 'cause now we are sure.

i saw it too!!!

I noticed this thing long ago, when I play MNOLG. The nest is so close to Makuta's lair, it is imposible Makuta don't know it. Maybe the hatch of the Bohrok is his secret plan, to use other person's knife to kill somebody. And I believe he hope the release of Kal can totally help him to conquer the island, and then he use the Raskshi to beat the Kal. However, the Toa do defent the Kal and the Bahrag, so he acted by himself...

It's an interesting catch....BUT...

I think in D's review of the game...he mentions that its hardly in the same continuity as the Bionicle storyline.

I can't find the review at this time...but I seem to remember him saying it doesn't follow the storyline too well.

Besides...I'm fairly certain that GregF himself (or somebody else from LEGO) has already said the Bohrok aren't serving Makuta (they're serving the Bahrag)

matoroball, please make your posts at least longer than 5 words because only a couple of words tells us limited information and it adds clutter.

Well, I agree with T-Hybrid that the game probaly doesn't really follow the main storyline. But that way, the game would be more fun and have more possibilites. But I think the bohrok are related to makuta becuase in MNOLG their chamber was right next to makuta's lair. I think they were Makuta's Back-Up plan to destroy the island.

Yes, and Bahrag serve Makuta! That makes a line which means Bohrok serve Makuta! It doesn't follow a Storyline when Kongu defeats Bahrag. But Manual is right! Just think - If their chambers were too close (and they sure are) , how couldn't one know about the other? I mean - Bohrok are six swarms, each of about 120 members. That means 720 Bohrok, about 720 Bohrok Va and two powerful Bahrag, which are always close to each other and this gives them power. So, how could ONE Makuta and about 10 Manas get whole swarm asleep? And what about Bahrag? where are their pods? and Va's? That means that LEGO showed us truth after all!

Remember, the game producers don't know as much about Bionicle as the 'hardcore' fans.I didn't see Kongu in the Bahrag's lair.

I think makuta probably awoke the Bohrok mentally just before he was defeated.

That could be true, but I am sure Makuta alone is strong enough to handle them all. biggrin.gif

The symbol on the canister is the symbol of Makuta's lair, that's why they have that connection.

It is opposite - that symbol is Bohrok's Nest rolleyes.gif And makuta77740, I ment that Makuta can't defeat it alone, not that it can!
