Why is the Mauka & Kane-Ra the only Rahi that have infected masks, but the others are evil too?

All the Rahi are infected. It isn't nesscissarily an infected Hau that an infected being wears. It's any mask that's infected. P.S. Muaka is the one with the Infected Hau.

Yeah, all rahi wear infected Kanohi, it's just that only Mauka wears the infected Hau.

there is no real reason why its the only set, i think its just that lego only wants to put one type of mask as infected for each series of masks they make, just like how there is an infected kaukau in the nuva set.

Why? The infected masks are hand painted and are VERY hard to mass produce. Putting them on all the Rahi would mean less rahi! And we don't want that do we??

They all are infected. You just can't always see it. But when something tries to destroy you, you usally know it's infected.

Hate to break it to you S.S. Gohan, but that is spam. You need to at least right out your own answer rather than saying "what they said." So please don't do that again.

I'm not sure why they only painted the infected colour on the hau and gave it to muaka, I guess LEGO only wanted hau panted infected.

I'm guessing LEGO realized that people may want an Infected Hau...but since they wanted to make it tough to get..(so as to know ruin sales of Mask Packs)...they included it with the Muaka.
That way if you really want one..you can buy the M/KR...the set itself rocks...and the Haus are a plus!

Like Goeyoshi said, they infected masks are handpainted instead of being molded in that style of plastic. And handpainting something as small and delicate as a Kanohi probably takes hours of precision.

I expect it's becuase the truly infected haus are hand-painted, and they take more time than the conventional mask. time is money, after all.

As it says in the Lego Club interview with the Kanohi Creators, the Infected Hau is very expensive to make, but I dont think it would take hours, maybe 10 minutes.
It only makes sense to have it accessable only by chance (Mask Packs) or in a very expensive set (M/K-R).
