Last I was thinking about this, what maks mata nui will wear. I guess many people will say that he wears a Hau, like makuta did, but that's only my opnion.

could be, the MoL is a symbol of light. and since mata nui is a great spirit op peace and light it would be simple that he had that mask.

hmmm we realy can't tell untill his set comes out (if it does) well I realy realy hope that he has a new maks with a new colour . perhaps with all the colours on it

There's probably only one MoL, as then it would be possible to have 2 ToLs, so I don't think Mata Nui wears that mask. I think if Mata Nui has many forms, he may well have the chrome Hau in Matoran form. But other than that, he may not wear a mask. And HauNuva, I thinki the chrome Hau is different from all other Hau, so it isn't a mortal mask.

Be a bit odd-looking without a mask...
Anyway, I quite liked the version MaskOfDestiny had - White Matoran body, legs and arms, with the Chrome Hau.

I think that he wears the silver Hau when he is his Matoran form (The one lupus was talking about.)

As a rock, he looks like he's wearing a Hau, if you look at the little Hau vents and hole.

I think he wears the mask of light. I mean, the toa of light might be mati-nui, we don't know.

Yeah it kinda does look like a Hau when he is a rock...

No, it's been confirmed that Mata-Nui is not the Toa of Light.

I think,since he and Makuta are brothers, Mata Nui will wear a white kind of mask Makuta wears.

mines a strange theory, but i think mata nui wore a gold hau, then when makuta put him to sleep stole it and infected it

what im getting at is that he probably wears a hau, because its like the "main" mask of bionicle

I think he wears the vahi. I really dont know why, but i had allways thought of
him with it.

Probally either a chrome or Gold Hau or Hau Nuva.

Yeah I agree with that. Has any one noticed that the Mask Of Light has about two Logos:

• The one with half a infected mask and half Mata-Nui (the island) and Mata-Nui looks dark with the Light comming from the water.
  
• The second is Makuta's head on one side and on the other is the Mol facing different ways.
  

only time will tell.

I think he either wears the MoL, or the chrome Hau.

It to could be that he wears no mask, only a gray tohu. It to could be that he wears a mix of all masks, only it would be rather weird.

He probably wears a Mask of Light, that's what I think.

First of all, it's spelled Mata Nui, not Mata-Nui. Second, it's not a GOD, it's a GREAT SPIRIT. And I quote:
"At the dawn of time, the GREAT SPIRIT Mata Nui came down from paradise . . . .".

On the whole: Great Spirits don't need masks thing, what do you think Makuta was? He was, once a great spirit, just like his brother.

I've something to add to this Mata-Nui-wears-a-hau thing. If you put the Hau UPSIDE-DOWN on a regular head and block out the undercarriage, it looks just like the huge idol-rock-thing at the beginning of MNOLG. Just a statement, not an opinion

if you guys looked at the new pic's of the 2003 toy-fair you'll see that makuta's hands are 2 silver mask's-of-light...so i was thinking mabe mata-nui will wear a silver mask-of-light. hey it's possible.

I think because Kopaka is in an antithesis with Tahu,the Akaku with the Hau,Mata nui with Makuta,I think Mata nui wears the yellowish Akaku.Or maybe a kanohi nuva?Or a krana?Or a Kratta?Of course,these are just my thoughts.

Well, a mask must always match the body that it's attached to. Try imagine a Fikou wearing a Vahi . Anyway, we don't know what Mata Nui really looks like, so until then, we can't accurately guess what his mask looks like. A better question would be what he himself looks like.

Don't forget that mata-nui is makuta's brother i beleve they have same powers same stenght and at least almost same shape so its possible that mata-nui wears the silver mask rua then agan he could be the toa of light or he could have owned the mask of light before toa of light got it
