Whoa...
Turahk is so cool!
Ayways, here's what I think.
The nuva's use the mask of time to wipe out the kal and get back htier symbols, thus regaining thier elemental powers. The bohrok threat is over. Then Makuta returns, as the matoran legend says he would, and creates or awakens the rahkshi. Their mission is too destroy the toa. The rahkshi steal the toa's mask of time, and are close to destroying the toa. The matoran then discover the mask of light and use it.

the way i see it, the Toa defeat the Kal with the help of the Exo toa, the Makuta returns and creates/awakens the Rahkshi, the Rahkshi go on a spree of destruction and the TOA have to stop them.
after they have stoppen the Rahkshi they will face Makuta once again
(so basically i think the Rahkshi work for Makuta
)

it's pretty obvious that they do. makuta has kraata holders on his knees and in his chest. they DO open, I've seen pics of them open.

I started a topic about that. I think the rahkshi are the bahrag and makuta is working with them.

I definetly think that they are working for Makuta. Especally since Makuta has the pop-up shins of death!

I think that: 1) Makuta sets the Rahkshi free 2) The Rahkshi beat the Toa badly 2,3, maybe 4 times 3) Then the Toa somehow turn around and finally beat them 4) Then the toa face Makuta

Well... if they are both in the movie, and they are both bad guys, then they must
work together
PS:Turahk is so cool!

I think makuta controlls the rahkshi with the kraata just like the bohrok, Although the rahkshi could also be creatures not created by makuta.
