i don't think Makuta can be defeated, but if he is defeated then a new evil will definately arise.

Probably will be a new evil

There will probably be a new more powerful evil....then toa struggle to collest mask/krana/sanwitches/ect then go into his underground layer and work togother to defeat the evil without any blood.

I think it's going to be like jackie chan adventure because when makuta is died his spirit will be alive and he'll set free his brothers that are evil from the ' demon world ' and they will contuct great destruction

Of course there has to be a new enemy other wise there will be no plot after makuta is destroyed(not defeated)

This topic raises a number of questions like:

• Was this the whole of the Toa's destiny, has it been fufilled with the defeat of Makuta?
  
• Will Mata-Nui awaken with the defeat of Makuta?
  
• Can spirits realy be defeated, if so will they come up with some whakey twist like Makuta was entombed in a crystal prison, never to return.. Or will he realy die?
  
• Is he Mata-Nui's only brother?
  
• Will the Matorans strength come back, because they said that Makuta weakened their power?
  

What I think will happen is that another evil spirit will come and wreak havok.

Maybe mata-nui will wake up and thak the toas elemental symbol and the toa will live peacefully with the islanders

Yes, but we don't know who. GregF says this book, or chapter, of the Bionicle story is named Makuta, and the next book will come in 2004. But we so far know nothing about the next book. I believe Makuta will be destroyed at the end of his Book.

makuta will probably be destroyed but he will come back in secret and unleash another power to destroy the toa nuva and their villages.

if that does ever happen it won't be for a while

i think he won't be destroyed, if he's the form of evil he and Mata-nui cannot be destroyed.
withoud eveil there will be no good.
so after a while i think the Toa shall lock him up or something like that .

MAKUTA WILL NEVER BE DEFEATED MUAHAHAHAHA if he was it would end bionicle because peace would come but don't worry me and Makuta don't plan on leaving any time soon

Maybe one of the Toa will turn evil, but that wont happen. Hopefully mata-nui will be in peace again.

well, that depends,several outcomes:

• makuta dies and an inbalance occures in nature, leaving part of the natural bionicle universe in turmoil.
  
• a new sibling of makuta and matanui arrives.
  
• matanui gains the power of his brother and becomes even more powerful.
  
• two motoran are born with similar dispositions as matanui and makuta(reincarnation)

I think it's a total toss-up of what Lego Bricks going to do after Makuta expires again. I don't think they intended it to go on for so long...though there is a movie coming out in 2004...

But still...this is a pretty long time for a toyline to exist in this day and age...especially one marketed to 8-11 year old boys. I'll be waiting to see what kind of stuff Lego has in mind.

A new evil will arrive but one of the toa nuva can't go evil,but I do sort of agree with what pohatu the extreme said.But there is probably only a 45% chance that is going to happen

I'm pretty sure that if Mauta s gone, the series will end. See, Makuta is the evil. So take away the evil, and you take care of the problem. If there is no evil, there are no problems in life. So there is no need to keep the saga going. It will probably be a really great ending though. Just hope the toa don't defeat Makuta anytime soon

After Makuta is dead[which will be the end the first book] thare will be a nether evil.
