Full Version: Thoughts On 2003 Sets

Cahdok the Bitor
Here are some things I've noticed:

1. Hidden Idenities: Everybody has pretty much figured out that Takanuva is Takua. But two other things, called Pewku and Gukko, I've found interesting hidden identities for:

Pewku = Puku, the crab that Takua rides (which makes sense, since Takua rides the Pewku as well)

Gukko = Goko, from Goko-Kahu, the flying bird that Takua rides (though Jala rides it in 2003)

2. Toa Disapearance? GregF answered a question asking whether any of the Toa would die or not, and said: Not yet. Does that "Not Yet" mean one is to disapear (in the fairly distant future)?

3. Nuhvok Kal: In his desription, it stated that he single handedly defeated Tahu Nuva (comic 10) and an entire Bohrok swarm. Is that a spoiler for things to come?

4. Repetitive Rahkshi: I'm not insulting or critisizing Lego, but the Rahkshi look very similar to each other, and there is very little different. Like the Bohrok before them, aside from staff design and overall color, the Rahkshi all have the same build and shape. I do not dislike the Rahkshi, because of this; I love them! biggrin.gif But I've notived, after close examinations of the pictures available, that the Rahkshi are basically the same (exept for their color and staffs).

I'll post more as I go, I had many more things to post that I forgot.

yes, those were my thoughts also. makuta is very large. i wonder why. and that one person, jaller...who is he? jala?
R2-D2
Okay jaller is jala.Let me explan it.GregF said that a Matoran who performed a great act (like saving a village) would attend a special naming ceremony to have their name changed. So that's why his name is changed to jaller and his name is changed to huku. And what you said about Puku make so sense. And yeah all the rahkshi have the same dizine.

Interesting, but a bit off topic. I agree anyway!

Also, back on track I've noticed that everybody is still questioning whether Takanuva is the Toa of Light. Well, after Purple Dave was denied to take pictures of the Takanuva set, then I'd say that that set is very, very important to be given such consealed treatment. There is also no other set to be released this year that might be the Toa of Light, so I think, I mean, I know, that Takanuva is the Toa of Light. It's so obvious! smile_tol.gif

He's wearing the mask of light anyway, so why isn't he?

No, it's not obvious. We've known, ever since my images of the catalog were published and I got my PE raised, that the set with the whale and ToL was called Takanuva. I believe it has also been said that the ToL is NOT Takanuva, and I think that was said by GregF himself. I'm not sure about that, but I think that's right.

Can you tell me where you got that? Or post a link maybe?

Anyway, like I said, the ToL should probably be wearing the Mask of Light (any reason why he shouldn't?) and Takanuva wears it. Makuta wears it too, but as a hand design, not a mask. If you do find it, then I'll consider it.

I'm not sure on the spikes, but the different Kraata are the same as the Bohrok having different Krana, so that wouldn't count.

Still a theory. Still just a theory.

And as such...AWAY WE GO!
