ok, stay with me on this; got to bionicle.com. click accessories. got to kanohi nuva. select the kaukau nuva. on the toolbar that lets you see what color kaukau the toa wear, there is a second black box at the end. it says INFECTED!
I hope its not a misprint. Maybe it is giving us a hint into the post MOL storyline: rahi nuva!

Anyway, perhaps the Kraata are advanced infected masks - Golden Infected Kanohi. A mask infused with Makuta's power. Who knows?
