Toreal
take the nuva mini comic, and look at the scene where you see them all on the platforms in the tubes. now picture a nuva canister(lid on)upside-down with no stickers. look familiar? the lid is the platform upside down!
BCii
I don't have my mini-comic handy, but you could be right.
Mask of Darkness
Ya, you could be right, but I wonder what the design on the top side is?

The Sa-X
Maybe, but I don't have my comic.

HEY, I'M A TOA!!!!!!!
Toa Onewa
I don't think so because that wouldn't explain why the top looks the way it does with all those holes in it.
Takua1623:ToaofMind
Could be why. I always thought it was their suva. biggrin.gif
SpongeEater
It makes sense. Maybe the design on the top locks into something bigger.
Toreal
I don't know about their patterns, but you can tell from the ridges on the side.

You are right,I looked through my comics and you're right. When they fall in the ground,it looks like a nuva lid!Good find
Toreal
It's not their suvas, and the two top holes are fore their weapons. It's the panel after they sink into the ground.
Brave Fencer Takua
yeah you could be right.

p.s my name isint takua233 anymore its Brave Fencer Takua.
Katoru
Lewarocks!, please do not spam.

Here you go: Comic 9 Suva. I'm sure the comic version would be accurate, and no, it's not my Brickshelf, and if the owner TrueFear opposes the fact that I made a link to it, I'll remove and upload a pic myself.
Mata-Nui-ologist
People think about it. The original toa canisters were of when they landed on Mata Nui Right... RIGHT!!! So think about it The Nuva canisters would likely be the platform when they decended into the promotetis (sp) . And think about it even more.. THE bohrok and the Kal both there containers were they pods that they emerged from. SEE THE PATTERN. I HOPE YOU DO.

What pattern?
Frakly, most of the replys here don't make any sence to me.
Heres what I know.
The original can tops were the survas. At least, that's the purpose for the sets, I think. There's room for six masks, and a face to put on a seventh mask.
The ew lid still has the six holes, but the face has been chaged to two of those rigged pole holes, and a round hole. Mayb for two more masks, maybe for their weapons, maybe even for their symbol (doughtful).
Okay, I hope I made a bit of sence.
Timekeeper
i checked and i believe you are truly right,Nuva Rules
tahuden
that is a really cool find i agree with the proto from the ground thing (^,^)
IQKid42
I think you're right! And yes, there is a pattern.
First, the toa canisters are their pods that land on Mata Nui.
Then the Bohrok cans are their pods( you have to turn it up-side down to see the cell membrane that resembles the tops on the nests).
then the Toa Nuva have another set of arrival pods! Their nuva cans. Those are probably the 'buckets' in the protodermis 'well'( it dunks them, letting stuff in, but not out).
It makes perfect sense!
Nihali
I see the pattern, but what use do the Nuva lids have after the Protodermis dunking?
Fatoran
well, i am planning on getting a second tahu nuva soon for moc reasons. i agree they do look like them. anyway, the reason i mentioned my new tahu nuva i because i will remove the label and possibly post pics of what it looks like without the label.
