Super Toa of light
In MNLOG, in the Nui-Rama nest, there are some firebugs which can zap the Matoran. What are they? They aren't in the creatures list or the Rahi one.

I read some where that the were "Coo Coo" bugs, or SOMETHING like that. Sorry buddy, but I don't know.
IMHO, I think that they are just "slaves" to Makuta, that are used to keep the other slaves working.

I don't think so; that doesn't sound like a Bionicle-like name. It would be a bit like calling the Toa mechanical people. As far as I know, they don't have an official name, but I do believe that the rest of what Tahufrozen said is true.

I thought they were larvae Nui Rama...Does anyone agree?
whynot22
One thing's obvious, they help the Nui-rama. They are apparently the... slave drivers.

The only things I know about those bug are:
A. They are bug
B. They shoot electricity
C. They live in the Rama's hive

That's all.

Yeah, that makes sense. I like that, but how is it that they have electrical powers when the Nui-Rama don't?
Potanu
Maybe it's a youth form of defense... Nui Rama adults can't send electric impulses cuz they're too big. They use their young as slave drivers.
SilverAkaku
I think they are nui-rama larvae. Or then again, they could be a completly different, symbiotic species. I think larvae is possible because many insect larvae are quite a bit different from the adults, and nui-ramas are clearly insects.
Hewkii Inika
I think that the fire bugs are Nui-Rama larvae, and I think the electricity makes their slaves work harder.
MataNuiHero
Probably a variation of the Hoto Fire bug, probably a tropical, static electricity version. most likely. Purple Dave called them Lighting bugs i think.
KopakaNuva1990
Good theorys. They could be larvae and slave drivers. I myself do not know what they are( too bad ) cool.gif

i agree. we should check the wild life section on bionicle.com
Tahatu
they might not work for makuta, they might be symbionts.

like, the bugs pick the parasites out of the nui rama's gears, i mean scales. the rama pay them back by not killing them.
