Who do you think is the toa of light?Personally I think it is Takua.

Off Topic: I think that the multiple topic posts was an acccident. It seems to happen a lot lately and is not due to our own computers. I think it is a problem at the other end, what with BZP moving servers.

Anyway.

Takua is the CHRONICLER of Mata Nui, not the Toa of Light. GregF has told us that the Toa of Light IS a brand new character.

Correct. Takanuva is the Toa of Light, and Takua is a different person.

What makes you so sure, Turahk? Notice the name similarities, Takau, Takanuva? And don't go on about Takanuva being the vehicle thingy, Gregf his said that Takanuva is the tol, not the vehicle, and as for who he is, Greg has been silent.

Oh good grief this topic again Takua isn't the TOL. Just cause Takanuva look like Takua so does Kopeke and Kopaka Nuva. When asked when the Takanuva set first came out he said gregf said he was a completely different character then as the movie is getting closer and lego is getting more specific on what he can and cannot say he is now being more mysterious but his first words are still there

i think Takua has something to DO with Taka Nuva but i am sure he isn't the Tol i think he must come in contact with the mask of light for the ToL to be summoned or something. and yeah this topic has come up alot!

I think we can safely assume it's takua, as we saw him on his way to putting it on in the trailer. but yes, since the set's name is takanuva and GregF DID say that takanuva is not the mode of propulsion takanuva is using (the whale vehicle whatchamacallit), takanuva is the toa of light. so, I think with the clues we've gathered (plus the fact the takua is very close to takanuva) we can say that takanuva IS takua IS the toa of light.

No infact I have gone through everything Gregf has ever posted and he never said that. What he did say is that the matoran will only go through one transformation in may to their new more agile forms. He has also sadi that Takanuva aka the TOL is a completely new character. not to mention all the fact in the post above me

Not again! Neither Takua or Hahli are the Tol! I hate messages like this because they screw up everything. Bionicle.com's got a message board with flaming everywhere because of this topic. That said, I'm going to post my theory. The Tol existed when makuta arrived. Makuta banished him somewhere.

takua is not the tol the tol is takanuva he is a whole new character the mask of light is like the ring of power in LOR. it wants to find its master and that is what the MOL does in the movie, lead takua and two others to his master "takanuva"
