I have done some research on the Rahkshi . When I added up the facts , some of the conclusions I came to were pretty interesting . Now Makuta is still alive (I know this thanks to the trailer on www.maskoflight.com) . This is the only way he could have made the Rahkshi - because before he didn't know the toa's true power and underestimated the toa . Next , when I was looking around BZPower I found that the Rahkshi mastered Mata Nui's elemental powers . My guess being that Mata Nui and Makuta are brothers , surely Makuta knows them as well . Makuta also bestowed his brothers powers to the Rahkshi because Makuta in the first place wanted to put the island of Mata Nui in peril . Next , I think that maybe the Rahkshi are some sort of mix between a dark form of toa , and rahi . I come to this conclusion due to the body structure of the Rahkshi . Finally , on another trip around BZPower I found that the kraata were some sort of leaches . I thought that maybe the kraata are the true warriors ! I think that maybe the Rahkshi are either creatures controled by the kraata , or just empty shells the kraata use to take form as well as protect themselves .
