Did we ever find out what the "Bumps in the Protodermis" were? Are they the Kal, the Bahrag, the Rahshki, or something as of yet un-discovered.

PS if this need moving, merging or has already been answered, please tell me.

Bumps? Could you tell me where you found this?

It's the exo's, I think that's why they can act on their own

I would say either the Kal or the Rakshi. If you look carefully at the eyes they are near the top of a flat head. Rakshi and Kal both have eyes near the top of their head. But I'd say the Kal because they are the first enemy the Toa Nuva met and the Toa Nuva were in the bohrok lair at that time.

I think it's the Kal. GREGF! Could you please get over here?

I'll pm GregF on the subject. Hold on!

That makes sense, since the eyes look like the Exo's

I'd say its the Bohrok Kal. Someone noticed that if you put bohrok in a tank the right way, it becomes obvious that the heads are bohrok heads, and someone (I can't remember if it was Leah or Greg) said they were the new bad guys, so I think they are kal. Not to say that they were mutated by the protodermis, we do know that they existed before the incident.

People, it's not the Kal. I know for sure, becausethey have nothing to do with protodermis. The Kal existed all this time but were never released till now. I don't think they are the Rahkshi, because the bumps' "heads" are to wide to be the Rahkshi's. They could be though.....

I didn't say that they had anything to do with protodermis, in fact, I don't think that it could mutate them. Second, its a pic they used for advertising, so why argue about what they are? At any rate, it is definatly a bohrok or bohrok kal, just look at the heads.

Here is a LINK to the pic of Tahu Nuva rising from the Protodermis. The "bumps" are the two crocodile-like things behind his mask.

They look nothing like the Kal, Rahshki, Exo's or the Bahrag. Or the other Toa Nuva for a fact.

Great Idea dodgethesnakes! thanks.

I think they are the Kal. Look at the wide of their heads. Deffinitley the Kal. Yeah, I'm sure of it. And that they both have red eyes, that's for the special effects. In Digimon and Pokemon you see Pokemon having red eyes in a cave. But when they come out, they have black eyes. Just special effects. So I would say they are the Kal.
Mahalis
They have nothing whatsoever to do with the storyline; they're just the other Nuva. They have red eyes because the artist doing the pic decided they looked better that way.
