the toa nuva don't know what the vahi does. See comic 11. if we didn't know what it did, we'd be scared to death also. read my sig if you don't have the comic.

i'm scared sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif

did you just get 11 today???
Tahatu
triple post. I got it on thursday. read my sig if you want to know what I'm talking about. It's the end of the comic. the last line.
Exo-scifiguy3000
I think that that line is a very good cliff-hanger. If only we didn't have to wait 2 months to figure out what happens.
bottlefly8633
I haven't even gotten my mag so i don't know what happens???
ExoWairuhaNuva
Wouldnt that mean they do know what it does???
Ninjo
Bottlefly...
I might have been able to accept a triple-post as an accident, if you hadn't made 2 more spam posts in this same topic:

You could have quietly used the "Report Post" button to report your triple-post.

If you don't know, don't post. Simple as that -- this is spam.

woah! that's cool! I wish I had comic #11. sad.gif hopefully I'll get it on monday.

so Tahu gets the vahi does he? mad.gif what a surprise! let's hope it's the end of him at least!

OK, sorry. got a bit carried away there. I'd guess that they do know what it does, that's why Tahu doesn't want to use it. he knows it's power is so great, it's dangerous to use it. well that's my theory anyway.
Lightbringer
Well it would make sence that they don't know what it does. The Turaga never said a word about it. I mean you find a very strange mask and you never heard of it and you have no idea what it might do for all you know it could come from Makuta.

Well I'm guessing that we won't have to wait two months for information on the Vahi. Greg Farshety said that we would get information on how Tahu got in on Bionicle.com.
And I can understand why Tahu doesn't want to use it. How is he supposed to know whether or not the Vahi won't simply rip apart the entire space-time continum and uterly destroy the universe? That is not something that I would risk doing particuraly often.
StapleMonger
I don't understand. How could the Mask of Time be dangerous to the
wearer? The only concievable answer is that once you use the Mask
of Time you are stuck moving at the time in which you set. I don't
know...
reaper_of_souls
none know of the mask of time because its a lost legend

im guessing that tahu uses it (not its powers) because its design is hard to disloge

Lupus Black
No, he calls upon it.

Huta
The Mask of Time may be extremly deadly or completely safe, like a Hau or Miru. We won't find out until Lego says.

I agree, time is a very sensitve to destruction and is vulnerable to control if the vahi falls into the wrong hands. in a hypithetical Tahu uses it and is knocked unconcius and the vahi falls off. Three things can happen. If the others use it also as a shared mask it can create a time vortex and send all of mata nui into a temperal loop or repeated time. Vahi can fall off and time goes harmlessly back to normal. or, Vahi falls off and the mask loses the control of the very thing Tahu once controled and creats a large vacuum that rips apart the space-time continuum in one large and dramatic explsion and freezing time in the whole universe.

I don't even get how Tahu knows about it. Where did it come from? If he knows it's name and that it's the mask of time, how does he know its dangerous? He would have had to use it before, and something gone wrong. Why has he kept it secret all this time? It just doesn't make sense. huh.gif All the mask does is slow down time everywhere except for you. Hypothetically that means you speed up. I think. How exactly is that dangerous?
Nataku Nuva
ok i think somewhere it said that there masks would become more "protodermic" the longer they stayed without there powers. well notice that Tahu's mask is somewhat more "protodermic" than the others are. maybe Tahu found the Vahi, consulted the turaga without telling the others, and was forced to use it before. but thats just a theory on why he knows its the Mask of Time.
QB.
Time is a dimension. In fact, according to physics, it is the 4th Dimension (up&down being the 1st, left&right the 2nd, and up&down the 3rd).

Time is something that no-one should be able to control. It is an every forward moving entity that we have no idea if it came into being somehow, or has always existed.

Tahu may thing the Vahi is dangerous because all he has heard is that it is a Mask Of Time, and he does not know exactly what it's power is. He may think what some people here think (that it can go back&forth in time), and it may fall into the wrong hands or cause a permantent time-loop (as DearykG said).

Tahu may just not want to mess with something so delicate as Time itself, the ever changing, always remaining dimension.

don't you mean that the 3rd one is depth,
and you are right time is the 4th Dimension.

we still don't know what the Mask of time does, and Tahu might not know it too, it might slow down yime , but then what about the rest of the toa.
biggrin.gif the Vahi is very dangerous , that's for SURE biggrin.gif
