i have noticed that takua and jala travel togeter a lot.in a way it looks like theyr'e best "friends".

Yeah, they're best friends. If it had not been for the incident in Ga-Koro, Jala would probably still hate Takua for leaving Ta-Koro, but when he got to know him better, he decided he was a pretty cool guy. But they are friends now, and travel alot together because Jala always liked to travel(Bionicle.com bios).
