Hey, I PMed GregF asking if Makuta would ever die. And if he couldn't tell me that, than which was more powerful: Bahrag or Makuta? (It wasn't in those exact words, though) He answered me today, saying That he would say that Makuta was definatly more powerful than the Bahrag (that has nothing to do with this, I was just wondering), and that Makuta COULD be destroyed, but weither he would stay destroyed was another question..... (this to is not the exact words. Shows how scatter-brained I am: I just read it two minutes ago!) Thus, MAKUTA MAY LIVE ON PAST MoL!! YEAH!!

Toa of Shadow......Think about it. No offense but think about what GregF is saying. Makuta is a higher Power just like Mata Nui. They CANNOT be distroyed. Look at the movie Harry potter 1. Sorcers Stone. The villan in that movie occupied a body so that he can do his dirtywork. When Harry Potter destroyed the body he only temporaily stoped the villian. He didn't destroy the villian just the body that he used as a vessel to do his dirty deeds. The form that we see Makuta in the Clips and Stills and even the Sets are not his real from. That is only the body in which he uses to do his work. Like on the Online game. He was in the form of a Matoran, they thought they destroyed him then and look HE COMES BACK. So why would you think he can be KILLED???????? They only destroy his form not his spirit. Him and Mata Nui are alike. They cant' really be destroyed. They are equals but opposites. Think about it. You might see what I am saying. So to be perfectly honest. I think that we will see another Makuta set later on down the line. Cause I think he will return in another form.

Hmmm... Makuta MIGHT not need to be destroied. Maybe he will have an infection or something burned away by a nice blast from the TOL.

I already knew that Makuta can not be distroyed. I don't whiether or not he will come back though.

As Nuju said, things are in constant flux. however, he was fallen once. then the Bahrag came. after they were destroyed, makuta comes again. i think that he will keep falling and keep coming back.
Besides, he is a Void. it is like killing air with a sword; he cannot be destroyed.

Also, I think Makuta maybe have the same fates like Voldemort, just he get back his power more quicker than Voldemort(Probally Makuta is more stronger than Voldemort...)

And, I think that Makuta can be destroyed, but just after Mata-Nui is also destroyed.

No-one in the Bionicle universe 'dies' - It's seen as too adult a theme to be played out in kid's toys.

Maybe Makuta's true form is his mask, as it's the Mask of Shadows.

But I think he'll die in the MOL.LEGO won't use an idea three times.I think we'll see some all new enemies.

ya think so, huh? Look at that set "Alpha Team", they used that Ogel guy alot... and he happens to be a bad guy... doesn't that mean they can't use the Great Spirit Makuta? No. Makuta will rise again, and he will be defeated (YAWN!) again.

Yeah, the LEGO people use the same enemies alot. Example: the Brickster, Sam Sinister, Ogel, etc. So hopefully they will use Makuta again. He is imortal!

From what I've seen GregF say in other topics, Makuta will be defeated in the Mask of Light Movie.

But (this may boggle some brains), Makuta says he is nothing. If you "can" destroy Nothing, then what are you left with? the answer is Nothing. So you haven't really destroyed it.

Makuta, like Mata Nui, is a God. Gods are immortalm meaning that no matter how many times their physical form is destroyed, their soul still remains, looking for another body to inhabit. The only ones that can truly kill a God is another God. But I don't think that Mata Nui would REALLY be that mad at his brother so much that he would kill out of anger. Might be the other way around, though. And for all those Harry Potter fans who've read Goblet of Fire will know where I'm going. And the MoL teaser also said Makuta was immortal. For those who can't see it...

Hate to disappoint you, but in my interview with GregF I asked him if one of the Toa would die and he said "Not anytime soon" Which means they might "kill off" one of the Toa.

As for the immortal bit, ever seen those Highlander movies? Where 1 immortal guy had to kill another immortal guy, and succeeded. You never know. The Turaga might know a secret to defeating him(they withhold a lot of secrets, don't they?)
My theory is that Mata Nui will have to sacrifice himself to kill Makuta, or the Toa will have to use all their power to destroy him, but in the process destroy themselves.

I don't think Makuta will be distroyed, just defeated. His body may be defeated but they defeat him. Unless the Tol's power of light distroys his. "Ah! That light hurts!"

You can't kill Makuta because in the traier it says that Makutas inmmortal.How ever you spell that word!!

I have to agree that even if Makuta IS destroyed that he will just come back in another form or body to taunt the toa once again. Think about it IF Makuta gets properly destroyed then what is LEGO going to do, Say that Mata Nui and Makuta where only 2 of 3 triplets!??! Come on! If Makuta is destroyed then there will be no more 'Big Bad Guy' in the storyline, Therefore losing the point and becoming boring. Bionicle is Lego Bricks biggest moneymaker, They wouldn't just throw it away!!

Another thought, As Hulud Nuva put it, They might 'kill off' one of the toa. Has anyone thought that the seventh toa MAY have to sacrifice himself to 'defeat' Makuta in MoL!?

If one of the Toa dies, they'll become a spirit & go to nice place and they could kill the spirit of Makuta from in the nice place. (Hope it's not Gali who dies)

No, I think GregF said that nobody dies in MolM(Mask of Light Movie). That includes Tol, and the rest of the toa. Btw, I heard a rumor that Tahu becomes evil in MolM. Can anybody verify this?

I hate Harry Potter, too. Let's think about something, though. Makuta said in one of the episodes,"You cannot destoy me, for I am nothing." But Makuta doesn't respect the Toa's power, and he has a body, so this is probably a lie. And after all, Makuta isn't incapable of lying.
And what's wrong with the new bad guy idea? It's perfect! You can't seem to run out of ideas with Lego pieces, and they can always think up some new kinds of parts, so new bad guys will always work. at least, that's my opinion.
Also, I hope the one to go is Tahu, because I can't stand him, and even though Makuta is immortal, the trailer also said,"...and the only thing that can defeat the darkness is a mask of light,"which just happens to be the THEME AND TITLE OF THE MOVIE!!! Sheesh, you! Try listening to the whole story, and maybe you won't be so confused!

I personally don't think he "dies" considering he's immortal. The only way to defeat him would be to make him good again, that the only thing I can think of.
