A while ago, a user, I dont remember his name, Said he had seen a bohrok nuva. People asked him to post pics, and he posted a tahnok with the brancase, hands, feet, and joints filled in white. People almost instantly dismissed the thing, clameing it was a bunch of lies- and mods soon closed the topic.

I dident think about it again untill the bohrok kal where released. I instently noticed a odd simularity betweed the pic posted by the member and the kal. This led me to a troubleing conclusion: The member, who had had exclusive news, had beem dissmissed as a lier.

I think that this should be a reminder to everyone that just because someone has no proof dosent mean that the person is lying- And that the mods should take personal note of the topic, and that the member with the news should get some creadit if what he said turns out to be true.

But to get serious, you're right, the members, Mod's, etc. should think about it. they shouldn't just say, "No, that's not true!" they should look it over, look at the facts, so on.

well...I was there. I saw it. I know, it wasn't really fair. however, the mods make mistakes too. and besides, he wasn't penalized for it, his topic was just closed. not a big loss.

Well First and for most. I agree everyone doesn't have the Technology to scan pictures or the money to be able to afford a digital camera. So I am not one to quickly judge a person's claims. I like to give a person the benefit of the doubt. This is the internet so people can say anything and everything and be whom ever they want to be. So in this day and time it is very important to be able to back up your facts with some kind of evidence. That is the harsh way of the world. SEEING IS BELIEVING. My father always me BELIEVE HALF OF WHAT YOU SEE AND NONE OF WHAT YOU HEAR. And in that case it was one of those cases where people wanted proof. That is how it is when you are dealing with FANATICS ( I am a BIONICLE FANATIC). Don't get me excited over a discovery and can't prove it. But I will never go as far as to call someone a liar even if I think it. Those are very strong words. I remember that topic. And I am sure that the person's feelings were hurt cause of that. But I am sure we learn a lesson as members to give people the benefit of the doubt. I hope he learned a lesson as well, don't bring information to BZPOWER if you do not have the means to back it up.

Please go to the REFERENCE desk and read up on the workings and Ins and outs of BZP. It will save you alot of headaches. Knowing the protocal and rules are very beneficial. Saying the phrases like " I am new." will only work for a little while. and phrases like "I didn't know" will never work. Ignorance of the rules is no excuse if they are laid out for you to read.

I never said that it was bad of the mods to close that topic. I have to admit that I, too, thought the guy was a lier... It just shows that people shouldent jump to conclusions...

Because I'm guessing what he showed us was either

A. An edited photo
B. An MOC with White placed in it (easy to do since those white Brain Pan, Feet, and Joints are readily available)

Proof? I had proof, before all the locked topics got deleated. And what he showed us was an edited photo. An edited Flash Still frame, to be exact. But the fact that your speculateing on this, T-Hybrid, Unfortunitly only makes me belive more firmly that this member had actually seen a bohrok kal, but dident have a scanner or digital camera.

The thing was this- He said he had seen a Bohrok-Nuva, which is what many of us probaly would have mistaken the Kal to be back then. Infact, thats basicly what they are (It says in comic 11 that they where members of the bohrok swarm until they where mutated by 'Strange energys' A.K.A. Protodermis). Just because the kid dident have the resorses to scan or take a digital photo, It was immediantly dissregarded as false.

It seems too coincidentel that he made them have white feet, Joints, Head, and Hands, Dont you think? Most people, If trying to make up a story about seeing a bohrok nuva, would say it looked something like a Bohrok with armor, New krana, Feet attachments and weapons. Shure, anyone could guess that the Hands would be silver, But who would have said that the hat, Feet, and joint where?

Do you see what I mean, T-Hybrid? It just seems to coincidentel that his "Bohrok Nuva" would look exactly like a bohrok kal.

Quick question, ~LEWA~: What do you see as the purpose of this topic? The member in question wasn't penalized. You feel a mistake was made, but acknowledge that there is no proof of anything. What exactly do you hope to accomplish?

yes i do remember a topic like that before.
the kid said they were bohrok with white bodies and red handshields. im guessing that he saw a premo set.
but yes ~lewa~ is right there was a topic regarding this.

Hey, Its not my fault everything got deleated! I just like people to remember that guy, mainly because I, too, Wrongly accused him of lyeing... Its a sad fact that, As bink himself once said, that some BZP members just read the news and never come up with theorys themselves. So people dont useally accept that just because the person dosent have 'proof', Dosent mean its not true.

For example, here. I cant provide any proof, But that dosent meen it is untrue. Allready 3 other people say they remember that. I bet if you looked hard enough, You could eaven find the Moderater that closed that topic.
