I do believe that GregF has stated that Takua is not the Toa of Light.
I couldn't tell you where he said it, but I'm sure I've read it somewhere.

And I suppose you think after he becomes the TOL Ussanui just plops down out of the sky and they all ride over the rainbow after defeating Makuta.


No I don't belive takua is the TOL because then they eould go on a quest for Ussanui and then a quest for Makuta and after all those quests they would be too tired to fight.

Takua isn't the ToL. When Vakama says "Trust in the Mask. Let it be your guide," he's talking to someone in the background, and the camera pulls back, revealing Jaller and... ~drumroll~ Takua! And both of them are confused. Takua DID try to put it on at some point, but it doesn't prove he actually DID it.

GregF never said that, but he has never said that he is the tol, either. I'm pretty neutral about the issue myself. The best way to find out is to wait it out.

If some one translates the the writing on the amsk maybre we eill know more.

Takua isn't the ToL. It was stated there is no transformations into anything other than into the new Matoran. When Vakama said trust in the mask let it be your guide he meant that it will guide him to the ToL. He was most likely locked away when landing on the island or was knocked off course.

Yeah he aint the ToL.It leads him to the ToL.And then they find him give him his Avhokii.P.S:Ill try to decode it.

When you present a theory...make sure you call it a theory. I HATE when people present theories as fact (as you have done here)

1) Takanuva may or may not be Takua. The first rumor was that they were voiced by the same guy. Now that doesn't prove ANYTHING.

2) Right now Takanuva seems to be connected more to Makuta than to Takua. And all the recent developments from GregF and various products seem to support a connection there.

TakaNuva, I never said to you that Takua is the Toa of Light. I am under strict orders not to reveal info on the TOL that could ruin the movie for people., so please do not claim that I did.

I have a theory on this, it might sound crazy but I think that Takua is related to both Makuta and Mata-Nui making him the Tol, here's why, take the name Makuta, take the M out of it, and put the T at the start, what do you get? TAKUA!!!! MAKING TAKUA THE BROTHER OF MAKUTA AND MATA-NUI!!!! Only a theory of course.
