Tahu's pride has always put him in danger. It's part of his Hot-head attitude. But this characteristic makes him brave and a good leader (despite Tahu not being my favourite, but I still think he's leader).

And anyway, Tahu is going to be put in danger, he's using the Mask of Time in comic #12.

I think that will lead into the story when he finds the Vahi that his pride will put everyone in danger and somehow that will lead to the MOT but we will just have to wait and see.
